10 pairs later... I finally find the best headphones in the world!
Literally, I've got 9 pairs of medium to high-end behind the head, over the head, and ear phones sitting in a drawer gathering dust. But those days are over now that I've bought and througly tested the Sennheiser PCX95. Simply put, these are the best behind the ear headphones I've ever owned. Finally, something that's not a waste of my money.
I regularly wear them to the gym while lifting free weights, machine weights, and cardio exercises at least 5 times a week and have found:
Pros:
- The cord length is more than sufficient to reach the Phillips ProVIBE that I clip to my belt.
- The cord is a flexible cable that stays that way no matter how cold it is, or how many ways I try to kink it up. Just feeling the texture of the cable tells you that the cable was on the design list, not just an afterthought.
- The behind the head portion of the headphones is VERY flexible which allows the ear buds to stay perfectly in my ears even when I'm laying flat...
they sound good to me
The Sennheiser PCX95 in ear neckband headphones are a quality product: both raw materials and craftsmanship. They perform as advertised and have the added advantage of reducing the outside noise and staying in the ear. Although I am not an audio expert, they sound good to me.
I would recommend the purchase of these headphones.
I would recommend the purchase of these headphones.
The exercise headphones I've been looking for
I've used them for a total of about three hours of exercising and they have worked great. I've had about five different earbuds used for exercise and they all kept falling out when I ran. The last ones I bought had the nubs that stick off of them to help hold them in your ears but it did not help much. These have been awesome. I think the sound of them is really well balanced. They are not crazy bass heavy but they do have pretty good bass response as well as really clear mids and highs. They are more comfortable than any of the other "neckband" style headphones I've ever tried. Most of the others I've tried applied a little too much pressure which caused my ears to hurt after awhile. The build quality on these is also a lot nicer than any of the others I've had/tried in the past.
The brief review:
Pros
* Great sound
* The most comfortable "neckband" style headphones I've tried to date
* Above average build quality
• Won't fall...
