Sennheiser MX 365 Earphones - Blue

Really good, and I'm buying more

My first set of these lasted about a year, just OK, but I love the sound and comfort. I also like the fact that they aren't noise cancelling and they aren't wedged into my ear canal like the ear bud style. For going out on walks, or doing work around the yard I'm more comfortable that these keep me aware of my surroundings but I still get great sound. I'm buying more, these are great.

Look, headphones are not all made equal--not even close. These headphones are by no means great. But, earbuds shouldn't be great. I've had at least a dozen pairs of earbuds in the last decade or so and they've all broken. These include 4 dollar headphones from an airplane along with a nearly 100 dollar pair of earbuds. The thing with earbuds is: they break. Really easily. You toss them in your bag, you twirl them around in boredom, generally you don't really take good care of them. I put my headphones in a little hard cylinder, but they still break after a year or so. Don't buy expensive earbuds.

Having said that, these are fine earbuds. 20 dollars is a very reasonable price and I expect to use these for a year or so. The sound quality is good. I have a 200 dollar pair of headphones at home that blow them out of the park; but that's to be expected. I wear them to the gym and I have no complaints in sound.

Sennheiser MX 365 Earphones - Blue

Got this for my son as a replacement when his iPod's OEM earbuds broke. Sounds much better than the Apple one he had...and this one has decent bass too. It sounds much better than the slightly higher priced Sennheiser MX 581 ( http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-MX-581-Headphone-Intergrated/dp/B0034L53Z4/ref=sr_1_4?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1355955378&sr=1-4&keywords=sennheiser+earbuds+volume+control ) that we have. Probably this is one of the best earphones that we can get under $20, as on this date.
