Don't bother, go for the S4's
I was very impressed with the bass, but my main gripe is that there is a TON of distortion especially in the mid/highs. So to start off for this review, all of my music is in FLAC format and I use a Fiio e10 DAC which doesn't matter as much for small earbuds as they don't require the power to drive like a full sized set, but it does put different headphones on an even playing field with low distortion amplification.
Plain and simple, music with these get muddy and it ruins the sound. As mentioned above there is heavy distortion in the mid/highs. Especially in the vocals in all genres, the "t" "s" "ff" sound are produced with that terrible distortion "hiss" that poor quality speakers replicate. Other than the distortion, I found the treble quite "sharp" and that grew fatiguing. Even with the large amount of bass, the mids were recessed enough that it was just tiring.I am not sure if these are real or knock off's, but if these were really $180 headphones at one time it's very...
Great headphones
Great bass and good fit. Changes the sound of music a bit. Wires dont tangle up and the three different ear sizes help fit into the ear canal.
Sound is above average
I like the sound of these earphones. Nothing really blows me away about them. They can get a little muddy on the high end. When listening at a louder volume, the simblance is quite noticeable. They are not as loud as some other earphones I have. I have to put the volume higher to get the same kind of output. For everyday earphones they will do.
