Mr. Happy is happy once again!!
First off, I have always had great experiences with Bose. Ordering online or at one of their stores. This was my first time going through Amazon for Bose....and let me tell you!!
These were EASY to install and a whole lot cheaper than buying new ones!! I was considering new ones because the foam was worn out, then I saw these. Direct from Bose. VERY HAPPY!! If you are looking at these and thinking if you should or not, do it! You will not be disappointed!!

Not BOSE appeared to affect noise cancelling properties of headset?
Bought these to replace original pads on my QC15, one of the original pads had started to split after frequent use of the headset for almost four years. Saw these on Amazon with a 4 star overall rating, so decided to purchase.
These certainly do not appear to be BOSE original components. They are slightly larger than the originals and one of them was larger then the other! As a result the larger one's padding cover came off slightly on trying to fit it to the headset! The larger pad does not seat properly on either ear can of the headset.
The originals come of and refit perfectly and with ease - but not these!
Would also question the quality of these with respect to maintaining sound reducing quality of the headphones. In comparing to my wife's headphones with original pads, my headphones with these pads on seem to be not as effective. We switched them over and the same symptom of less effective noise reduction transferred to her headphones etc!

Are they really Bose?
I bought this replacement ear cushion kit when the thin vinyl later started flaking off of my headset (as a programmer, they get used daily). Buying through Amazon saved me about 50% vs Bose retail, but I'm not sure if I received real Bose cushions or a close knock off. They look very similar to the originals, but they have a different inner cup mesh, vent holes and double-sided tape pattern - none of which concern me. Unfortunately, the cushion foam also seems to be different. The cushions are just a bit thicker than the originals and squish my ears (either laying on top of them or squishing them to fit inside the opening diameter), and the foam is firmer than original, which creates discomfort after about an hour (the originals were comfortable all day).
With that said, the quality is up to par and the precise manufacturing and assembly remain.
