Break easily
It's great that I can replace the cord that matches the original. However, I am now having to buy this cord for the 4th time since the tip bends easily, and then they do not work. If I could find a different cord that worked I would try it in a heart beat.
Worth it for half the price
There are clearly some pluses to this cable, but in the end, the price for an over-designed proprietary cable is always higher than need be. I'm a huge fan of Bose, and own multiple headphones, as well as 3 sets of speakers- as a professional audio engineer, no company makes speakers with a more flexible eq. HOWEVER, if you don't care about the cable matching your headphones, and you don't need a microphone or volume control, I would strongly recommend a generic 1/8" to 1/16" cable and save yourself 20+ dollars.
This cable is excessively long, and as a byproduct difficult to maintain for the longterm. If you're investing in this, you'll probably need 2 or 3 of them to match the lifespan of your headphones. Think twice before purchasing.

My daughter stepped on her headphone cord. Buying this replacement cord was a much better option than having to look at another set of headphones. Now she has her favorite, unmistakable headphones back.
