Great pair of headphones
These are great. They are very solid and sturdy. The Synchros have great sound and comfort. I have recently had the beats studios. They are not even comparable. The beats broke twice on me and they heat up your ears very easily. The Synchros have good air flow and sound great. The powered LiveStage adds a boost to the sound. If the song is mainly vocals it sounds like they are right there next to you. The LiveStage also last for a very long time. Almost 28 hours. The case is very protective and has a nice mesh pouch that holds the cords. These are one of the best headphones I have ever owned.
good quality but a bit overpriced
I was thrilled to have the opportunity to try out the new JBL Synchros S700 on ear headphones. These come boxed with a White cardboard outer sleeve that has a large picture of the headphones printed on it. Remove the sleeve and you find an Orange and white cardboard case. The interior lining and inner carton is black.
JBL includes in the package:
* The JBL Synchros S700 On ear Powered Stereo headphones with Li-ion battery
* 1 Three button ISO (Apple) remote/microphone cable / side angled 3.5mm connection
* 1 Three button Universal (Android,Samsung,LG,HTC,Windows etc) remote/microphone cable /side angled 3.5mm connection
* 1 Cable for USB charging
* A Leather (like?) carrying case printed with !JBL on one side and Synchros on the other . The case is of excellent quality. The interior is lined in a short plush pile. There is also a netted area to hold all of the cables.

The best I own
I consider myself to be a fairly avid headphone enthusiast, although I didn't really begin seriously collecting until about three years ago. Prior to that my only experience to decent sound was portables such as the Koss Porta Pro and Sennheiser PX100 & 200ii. Since then my collection has tripled. Each set has its own unique strengths and weaknesses; however, few of them are as well rounded as these. Very few flaws. They're beautifully designed with an understated industrial sense of fashion. The button for the LiveStage feature is integrated on the left earcup. It's completely flush and unnoticeable except when a small led shows when powered on. Very slick and elegant compared to most noise canceling buttons on other sets. They're incredibly well constructed. Flat out tank-like in terms of build quality. Ultra high quality materials and finish. Right there at the top of the list imo with my Philips Fidelio L1's, V Moda M80 and Phiaton Bridge MS500. Frankly, it may even be a notch...
