Best earphones I've ever had - UPDATED lifespan

Absolutely wonderful, the best headphons I've ever had. I'm very picky about headphones but I don't want to spend a fortune. These are wonderful. Beautiful depth to the music, amazing clarity, high treble and strong bass. Vocals are crisp. Very nice, highly recommended.

This week I noticed a difference in the sound quality. I've had to listen to music louder and louder recently, and today I noticed the more subtle trebles, vocals, and beats are gone. The music had grayed out a little, I guess. I'm not a music expert so forgive my lack of technical terminology. I took out my back up, unopened pair of these headphones (yes I like them that much) plugged them in and noticed an immediate difference. The music is much clearer. So after 6 to 16 hours of daily usage for two years, these headphones have bit the dust. They function but the quality is not what it once was and I don't like listening to that. Others might...

Good sound quality compared to cheaper ear-buds and inexpensive.

I had no idea how much better earbuds could sound. Transitioning from my SanDisk stock earbuds to these made a world of difference in terms of sound quality and articulation. Worth every penny.

Finally, I arrived at the perfect earbuds.

I have owned two pairs of these (one for tv and the other for pc - music and gaming) almost a year now. These are far superior to any headphones or earphones/buds that I have ever owned. And I've owned many. Deep bass, crisp highs and everything in between is scrumptious. To boot, they are so comfy, you completely forget they are there. I tried in-ear (canal) buds and just can't use them - drive me bonkers. And headphones always end up giving me headache after a while. So, this type of earbud is ultimately the only kind I can use. But I do not feel like I am missing out on anything or getting lesser audio by not using over-ear or in-ear phones. I finally arrived at the perfect earbuds. And it really blows my mind they are less than $20... Thank You Sennheiser!
