Sennheiser CX380 Sport Series Noise Isolating Earphones

Good sound, but not rugged enough.
I was excited when I first opened these headphones. Comfort and sound-wise, they are great. The ergonomics are on point. I'm very dissapointed in the quality, though, especially for a "sport headphone."

I've had problems with sound-isolating headphones not lasting before. If I get 1 year out of a pair of headphones I consider that successful. Often one phone stops working - a wire comes loose. The strain relief may fail and the headphone starts falling apart. I take generally good care, and typically, I run the headphone chord under my shirt with my player in my pocket. This way, the chord is protected and doesn't snag on things when I'm travelling through the airport or working out at the gym.

I got only three months out of these headphones! Never did they snag or get hit or smashed. They failed because the headphone jack (which is right-angle shaped) became flimsy and loose, and eventually, the plug would slide out of the sheath / strain-relief. I used...

I brought this product to use during my gym workouts. Works great for me. Good decent sound quality and noise cancellation actually work great. given 5 stars because it sometimes get some static noise when connected to PC. Otherwise great product.

Fast shipping, great headphones
I purchased these a while ago, hesitating to put up a review, only because I never have any luck with headphones. The shipping was fast, only took 2 days to arrive. The product itself is quality. These headphones are incredible for the price point. They are noise canceling, and the sound quality is rich. The earbuds don't feel cheap or poorly manufactured, and the plug snaps securely into jacks. The few gripes I do have are the uneven wires to the ears, I imagine this is for easy untangling, and to make sure you put the buds in the correct ear. the right angle jack is annoying at best when you have your ipod in a sleeve or athletic case, but these issues are minimal. In my opinion, these had stood the test of time and hard wear and tear. I highly recommend to anyone looking to save a bit of money, but still looking for a rich sound experience from their earbuds.
