Good quality sound, weak base, weak sound isolation

Very good quality sound however lacking in the base. The treble is excellent, but you definitely aren't going to want to listen to Dubstep or Hip Hop music wearing with these. The sound isolation is very poor as well. If you are going to listen in a quiet place these will work well. If you are biking through a loud city however... not so much. I did find the isolation seems to be an issue relating to the design of the silicon tips themselves that goes in the ear. Before owning these I had a pair of both Koss Plugs and JVC Marshmallows (both cheaper and less good quality sound however better isolation). However I retained the memory foam ear buds that came with both of those. I figured out with some trial and error experimentation that using that memory foam in the right size with these headphones produced MUCH better sound isolation than the silicon tips it came with, and without muffling the sound.

I normally don't spend a lot of money on earbuds. I've been more than happy with my Sony Bumpin Buds [ASIN: B007BY3OTW]; which offer a great sound for the money. But I thought I'd splurge a little get something better, and something could be used with my phone for calls. First, don't let the low reviews here dissuade you. If you check the Amazon UK site, the reviews are mostly positive 4-stars or higher. So it just goes to show different people have different preferences.

If you prefer boosted bass, then get a set of Beats or Skull Candy earphones. If you like to hear music the way it was intended, then consider these Sennheiser earphones. The sound is naturally flat. You an always use the sound settings or EQ on your phone to adjust the levels to your liking. Don't have much else to say on the audio quality.

Other than for music or phone calls, these earphones can be used on laptops that have a combo earphone/mic jack. Pretty handy if you use Skype or other...

Lasted 2 months

My pair did not last 90 days. Around day 70 my cord broke, I would not waste my money. I will be buying a pair of Bose next time, I'd recommend you save your money and buy something durable.
