Beware of Changing Costs!
I'm in the process of buying two of these 2-year protection plans. Intially they were $2.54 a piece with free shipping. I go to check out and the price changed to $3.00. Okay, whatever. But then they change for shipping. So I empty my cart and redo the order in case there was some sort of glitch. The price goes up again to $3.60. FINE. Whatever. It still advertises free shipping, but that option doesn't show up at the check out. I go back to check to see if they removed the free shipping (considering all the price changes) and the price is changed again to $2.54! By the time I'm at the check out, it's changed to $3.58.
Then a 3 year warranty is suddenly added for an extra 10 cents. Great! I could use an extra year of coverage. I reset my cart and redo everything so I can have the 3-year warranty. This and the price is changed to $4.24 per warranty by the time I'm at the first stages of checkout. I say - whatever! I give up! A warranty for under $5 is still cool with me. So...

I ordered a ROKU box and this protection plan. I cancelled the ROKU box order, it was taking too long. But the warranty was already in motion. I was able to cancel this and get a refund.
I used Square Trade in the past and they are great to deal with. A small price to pay for some protection on a product.

Often warranty service can become adversarial. This was a very pleasant change! The phone personnel were both knowledgeable and very friendly. The instructions for return were easy and clear. The refund was fast. I will use Square Trade again when it is offered on an item I purchase.
