Very nice little player
I got tired and annoyed with worrying about if my player would play discs from other regions, and
told myself, next player I get will be an 'all region' player.
So, after a bit of research and review reading, I settled on this model.
I have plenty of experience with Panasonic DVD and Blu Ray players, and they have always performed
very well.
This player was very simple to set up. Just attach the HDMI cable to your TV, turn the unit on, and go
through the initial set up.
I gathered my discs, both Blu Ray and standard DVD from regions all over the world, and viewed all of
them with no problems.
The picture quality is outstanding, nice and sharp, good saturation and contrast.
I did not need to make any picture adjustments at all.
The unit is very smal and light weight, and tends to slide around if using the buttons on the front instead
of the remote. So, I placed a small dabs of BluTac under it to keep it in place.

Great multi region Blu Ray player.
This thing just rocks. I've been coveting movies from France and Italy and my wife has been after Chinese discs. This little player does them all. When I first set it up, I noticed a lot of vibration, which turned out to be one of the feet not flat on the equipment shelf. Its super lightweight, so it needs a good flat steady surface to set on. DVD's change zone automatically. Blu Ray is manually switched but the zone change is super easy once you get the sequence right. I mistakenly had the unit powered on when I tried to switch zones, & got nothing. After rereading the instruction set, I read that the unit needs to be SWITCHED OFF before switching zones. Simple: Unit OFF, press 1 then PWR for US (A), 2 Then PWR for Eur(B), 3 then PWR for Asia(C). Good fidelity, nice menus, Panasonic quality. Panasonic 89 Multi Zone All Region DVD Blu ray Player. 100-240V World-Wide - Great Player
This Blu ray player is great. All I had to do was hook it up to my TV. plug it into electric socket, turn it on & switch my tv on to the correct HDMI channel. I can use it to play any dvd or blu ray, It automaticaaly selects the correct region for dvds, however. with blu rays you have to manually select the A,B, or C region. I can connect to Netflix, Vudu or Hulu & stream a movie instantly. It does what it says it will do. I am enjoying watching some pal videos I bought a while back. It is truly remarkable. I highly recommend this player.
