Assurant 360º 2-Year Home Theater Protection Plan ($75-$99.99)





Online Registration is a Nightmare
One cannot make a proper "Brand" selection for many items even though such a selection is required before the Registration process can proceed. I tried every conceivable combination of drop-down selections (ie: electronics - other - other - brand) and still could not find TP-Link or Roku. I then merely created a user profile and tried to log in using my personal credentials and could not and I also did not receive any confirmation email. I easily wasted at least two hours and called their inept customer service the following day. I was then instructed to use "electronics - other - other - brand". I informed the rep that I would seek refunds and preserve my sanity. The website has likely been coded by former government IT & database employees.


Terrible website
Went to this website, tried to create a profile, it says "profile with this email has already been created". Odd, I haven't done that. Tried to change password, it says password successfully changed. Even more odd as I don't remember putting in a security question (btw, the security questions are terrible and stupid).

Tried to login with "new" password, get an "unable to login" error.

This website is awful. Don't buy this crap.


Product Plan not worth the money
Before I begin I need to clarify something to those that do decided to buy this plan. it does cover whatever eletrcnic device you purchase from Amazon or whoever it is from this site. What they don't tell you is the stuff that happens during its two year. After buying it as it was of a good price and I wanted some extra coverage with my new blu-ray player. The thing didn't work and after extesvine tries through the manufactuer with little to no help I decided to call this lot and see what could be done through them. I spoke with a very polite person who was more then happy to help me. After I explained to her the situation and she checked to make sure I had the correct itme in question she then informed me that I had to go through the manufacutuer as the ONE YEAR warranty on the device was still active. I then asked her why a two year plan was offered if full well the maunfactureer was going to cover for a year? She had no answer for me. Needless to say I was unhappy with...
