Elite Screens Sable Frame 2 Series, Fixed Frame Projection / Projector Screen, 120-inch Diag. 16:9, ER120WH2

Great screen for the price, tricky install
I had a 110 inch Carada at my old house - a great screen, great company - but when it came time to put a screen in my new house I decided to take a chance, save some bucks (hey, new houses are expensive) and try this Elite based on reviews here and over at AVSForum. I'm pretty darn pleased with the end result; using the same projector (currently an Epson 8350) this screen looks just as good as my 1.4 gain Carada did, at about a third of the price (and cheaper shipping too). If you are looking for a quality screen that will help your PJ deliver an excellent picture then this Elite does the job.

I was also impressed with how this screen was packed for shipping. Somewhere in China, a young MBA sat down at the factory that makes and packs this thing and explained in great detail how spending X in up front packing costs would reduce Y in later damage claims. This advice (I assume) was taken to heart because this thing is packed like it is being sent off to war. Prodigious...

I like it, but Elite Screens support leaves much to be desired
I ordered this screen here on Amazon and received it quickly. I installed it that Saturday by myself. From unpacking to mounted perfectly on my wall, it took me about 4 hours. During assembly, I noticed slight issues with the quality of the felt on the frame, but from a few feet away you couldn't see them at all, so I let that slide. But when I finally got it hung and had a projected image on it, I noticed some defects in the material. There were light grey vertical streaks everywhere. Right then and there I should have just sucked it up, taken it apart, and sent it back to Amazon for an exchange. But I decided to give the company a chance to help me out as I thought a material exchange would be much easier for both of us, boy was I wrong.

I contacted them right after install and received a response on Monday asking me to fill out a RMA form on their website. I filled it out a few days later and a few more business days passed. I received another email telling me that I...

Great Screen!!
I ordered this screen on Friday night, it shipped the next day (Saturday) and arrived at my door on Monday. That was fast!! Make sure you sit 15-20 feet away to enjoy it because this screen is HUGE!!! My theater room is 20'x20' and I have to sit way at the back to appreciate this thing. This screen is actually the Spectrum/VMAX2(PLUS) series. The screen came with the IR remote, 12V trigger cable, and bubble level. It has no mounting hardware (i.e. screws, L-brackets, etc.). No problem, a trip to the hardware store fixed that problem. Once it's mounted, the screen slides down nicely (slowly) with the touch of the remote. I'm using this screen with my Panasonic PT-AE2000U and love it so far!!! I would definitely recommend it for the price.

Update (21 August 2014):

A couple of months ago, my 1 year old threw away the IR remote. I read in the manual that you can roll down the screen if you attach the 12V trigger to a 9V battery. I did that and the screen...

Absolutely great product for price!
REVISED 4-6-2013
I upped this to 5 stars from 4.
I have now been using this in my theatre room since 2008. The first couple of years used it a couple times a week. In late 2010 remodeled room and have used it almost DAILY since. ("Use" means cycle it up and down - I have it dropping if front of a 50 inch plasma TV). I could not ask for better performance. In 2009 I purchased one for my business (that closed in 2012). Started using almost daily (up/down) for almost 2 years and no problems.

Original Review with 4 stars:

First, realize that an industry average good quality screen of this size can cost well over $1000.00. So, you are not going to get that kind of quality. I have two of these: first one two years ago for home use and second a year ago for my photography studio use. They are not used daily, but have cycled a couple of hundred times each. They work fine, but MUST, I repeat MUST, be hung level. Toss the level that come with it and use a 36"...

STR-169100 Silver Ticket 100" Diagonal 16:9 HDTV (6 Piece Fixed Frame) Projector Screen White Material

Easy assembly and a great final product
Unlike a lot of the reviews, I had no issues assembling the screen. On the contrary, I was very impressed by the materials and the engineering behind the design and assembly of this product. It was out of stock through Amazon so I received it directly from Silver Ticket and had no issues with shipping - in fact, it arrived in only a few days for free.

As some people say, you could buy the fabric and build your own screen for a tiny bit less money. However, I do not think you would make out much better than this bargain (time counts, too).

Check out this photo of the final installation!

Good but with some issues
The package arrived quickly through Prime in a well constructed box with no damage...thanks Amazon. The overall quality of the frame and screen material is above average particularly the way foreign products are so cheaply made today. The screen material is vinyl like and emits a slight odor that will hopefully dissipate. I would rate the picture quality very good but not spectacular. Overall a good value.

Biggest gripe would be the assembly as the other reviewer mentioned. It is actually very easy once you understand the concept of construction. BUT, the directions are terrible; only pictures with no verbiage so you spend an exorbitant amount of time staring and trying to understand what they are intending.. The company does have better instructions but you will need to contact them to get a link. The other problem was that some key parts were missing that prevented it from being mounted. To the company's credit (which I contacted directly) they did air express the parts...

Truly Amazing Picture
When I went to purchase a projector, I thought I was going to get a pull down screen but I'm SO glad we went with this. Trimmed in black velvet and always ready to go on the wall, it's so sleek it transforms the room even when nothing is on it.

Some reviewers complained that it was hard to put together, but it's fairly intuitive, plus the company sends you a video to follow so you can't go wrong and the final product is quite impressive.

With the OptomaHD141X, it's just truly stunning.

STR-169120-G Silver Ticket 120" Diagonal 16:9 HDTV (6 Piece Fixed Frame) Projector Screen Grey Material

Fantastic!
The build quality of this screen is impressive. This is not your average tube frame, it's nicely bevelled and covered in felt. A lot of people seem to be building these screens alone. However if you're assembling anything as large as this 120" screen I'd make sure I had a helper.

Assembling the screen won't take too long. Here's a BIG tip, when you're snapping the screen into the frame do the corners in an "X" pattern first! Then work towards the middle. With so much material it takes a little muscle to stretch it tight.

What took the most time was getting it hung properly. It's basically hung up on 4 screws you install into the wall. I test hung just the outside frame a couple times to make sure it was located properly.

Also the packaging on this screen was impressive. The box came damaged, however all the parts are double boxed and have foam spacing so it would really need a beating to get through to anything.

Overall amazing screen, and...

I started the return process for this item. I wanted it to work because it seemed to be well built and seems pretty good, but it ultimately came down to the issues I've had with the screen material itself. I got 2 screen materials (2nd one sent in by Silver Ticket support to try and fix the issues). First screen had multiple vertical bands which were visible in bright panning/scenes (think Top Gun, Star Wars type of movies), they're like the vertical banding you see in LCD TVs. There's one vertical band right in the middle of the screen which I suspect to be the vertical support bar, seems like the screen material backing doesn't do a good enough job of hiding the support bar in bright scenes. Another issue I've noticed is that there's a bit of hotspotting (area brighter than the rest of the screen) on the mid-section of the screen where the projector is directed at. In the hotspot section, in bright scenes, you can clearly see the surface of the screen which seems to be very small...

Simply awesome!
Wow. Again. Wow. What a wonderful screen. I decided on this screen based on both my research and the recommendation from my friend who is a home theater installer. The screen was very easy to setup (but I would strongly recommend you get a friend to help you, especially when stretching the material to clip into the frame). Once put together, it was very easy to mount onto the wall (surprisingly light but very solid feel). The image quality on the screen is sharp and both the blacks and colors look wonderful. And I am so so glad I bought a 120". It is mind-blowing watching a game or a 3D movie on this screen. We sit about 18 feet away from the screen, and it feels like we're in a cinema (but much more comfortable of course!). I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this.

screen does not look really flat
I installed right away but noticed that the screen is not even and wavy.
It may have been the way how this unit had been stored.

Excellent product
The screen arrived a day before schedule. The unit itself is light for the size, excellent quality screen, very well unit, the remote control is RF not IR, so you don't have to point at a receiver (also, it arrives with a battery), the motor is quiet, up/down speed is the same both ways, no assembly required just unpack, mount and plug in, which took all of 15-20 mins.

Pack it well!!!
This item arrived with a dent, if only it was packed securely. Very sensitive. Easy to set-up. No problem with retracting & extracting screen. Clear. Works well for the price paid. Batteries included with the remote. Remote works well. Arrived as promised.

STR-169150-G Silver Ticket 150" Diagonal 16:9 HDTV (6 Piece Fixed Frame) Projector Screen Grey Material

Can I marry this screen?
I just replaced my 120" da-lite pull down screen with this... it took about 30 minutes to put together, and it is incredibly awesome. Just grey enough to make the blacks deep, deep black. Using with a short-throw projector, which is the bomb.... here's a link to the projector:

http://www.amazon.com/BenQ-W1070-1080P-Theater-Projector/dp/B00A2T6X0K/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1397675632&sr=8-1&keywords=beng+st1080

With this projector, the projector only needs to be about 8 feet from the screen to fill the 150" screen.... and you cannot make out pixels, 3d is amazing, video games are amazing.

Buy both, you won't go wrong. The black velvet frame on this makes this look ultra-luxe.

Jaw dropping customer service
Dave Ramsey would describe Silver Ticket as "one of the good guys".

I just received the screen a couple of days ago. It's definitely a quality product and clearly someone with experience in setting up home theater's designed it. Despite what others have said, this thing is a piece of cake to install. More specifically, someone said that it doesn't slide easily after it's mounted - that person just didn't hang it right because when it's done right, it slides back and forth effortlessly, especially with one person pulling and one pushing. Super smooth. As long as you have a nice open floor to build the frame on, it's actually very simple and intuitive. You do have to do a bit of tugging on the last few tensioners, and as my father always said you "stop right before it breaks" or so it feels. But it doesn't, and it's tight and flat. The hardest part is the center support bar, that takes a little finesse. Or more like brute force. Just alternate each end a...

High value compared to the cost. Can't miss with this screen.
Extremely easy to assemble, if you ever put anything together you really do not need the instructions. For those of you that have been using a plain white wall for your projector, once you try this screen you will then know what you are missing. The depth of the picture along with the color saturation and the eye popping 3D will be well worth the price. I highly recommend the additional cost of this screen to complete your video system.

Almost perfect but still 5 starts
A gift from my husband. I don't know if this is really a gift for me or for him. Either way he had to of thought about me since he knows I love my movies. He doesn't seem to watch movies with me though, but he hasn't missed a Panthers game on it.

We both put the screen together and his buddy came by and helped him mount it on the wall. I was glad his buddy came by since assembling anything is never fun. I would say it took us a half hour to 1 hour. It was very easy to put together and my husbands buddy was more impressed with it over his own screen. Yeah! My husband made a good choice. The only problem we had was it was hard to see the pictures on the manual. Looked like a photo copied manual, since I am not rating the manual I wont go into that. But it did almost make me give the product a 4 star review. We could have put the product together without the manual, but we just kept double checking the manual to make sure we were right.

Awesome deal
I bought the 16:9 106" screen. It was missing a part, but they were very fast to respond and very friendly to work with. They sent the necessary part overnight for free.

I've read that other screens at this price have box frames that come in multiple parts, resulting in a weaker frame. This frame has a tapered edge to prevent shadows, real felt wrapped around the frame (not some spray on material), and each of the 4 sides was a single, very solid chunk of aluminum. It went together very precisely, and the screen stretched out nicely with no wrinkles. And it looks great with my Epson 5030 projecting on it! I wish I could somehow compare this to an expensive screen like a Black Diamond, but it's hard to imagine the image being much sharper or having more accurate color. This is a very nice looking, and very solid, screen. I'm not sure how they can afford to sell it for this price. And they have great customer service! What's not to love?

Impressive!
Impressed! I was a bit skeptical because of the low price (compared to other screens sized similarly) but it really looks nice. It's not too difficult to assemble (instructions could be better w/ better pictures) and its small imperfections do not bother me as I thought they might when I placed the order (and I'm fairly picky). It looks to be a re-branded screen...as I can ever so slightly see where a previous manufacturer/company sticker/tag used to be located on the bottom-right corner of the velvet covered frame. It is very slight and not noticeable from 10+ feet away in a dark movie room. Would buy again!

Very nice screen - excellent value
I ordered this screen a couple of weeks ago, based on the great reviews and the low price (compared to other screen options). When the screen arrived, opened the package up and it was missing the "parts bag" with all of the smaller pieces (screws, corner brackets, etc.). I scanned the parts page and then marked which parts I still needed. I contacted Amazon, who said I could ship the whole thing back, but I asked if I could just work with Silver Ticket to the the missing parts expressed out to me.

The Silver Tickets folks responded immediately, and overnight shipped the missing parts. Good service. ALL companies make mistakes, but I look at how they respond when this situation happens - Silver Ticket responded quickly and accurately, which I certainly appreciate.

I put the screen together by myself - it took about 1 hour. I watched the YouTube video a couple of times (which was very helpful), and the diagrams / directions - which were "ok",...

Well made screen, easy to assemble (tips below), excellent value
Purchased this product from a relatively unknown seller. The screen is great, and the seller provided excellent service.

Screen/frame:
- Screen is white vinyl-like material
- frame is aluminum coated with a black velvet
- no wrinkles in the screen
- lightweight. One person can lift it, but of course at this size that would be awkward.

Performance
- Screen looks great
- black velvet frame does it job. When intentionally aligning the image so that the image is partly on the wall, partly over the frame, and partly on the screen, one sees the part on the wall and screen, but not on the frame. It does its job dispersing the light.

Assembly
- Assembly took about an hour. I supposed its plausible that you can do this by yourself, but you should find someone to help.
- One installs a fiberglass-like pole through a pocket in the screen, and then uses that pole to stretch the screen over snaps.
- The instructions...

A surprisingly good screen, for not a lot of money
This is a rather surprisingly good screen, for not a lot of money. I started out the search by considering a DIY approach, but after tallying the cost of materials and some tools that i didn't have, this turned out to be about $40 cheaper, easier and quicker to set-up, and looks rather professional at the same time.

I think the manufacturer did a good job packaging the item as well. Each component was either in its own box, or plastic bag. It was almost like opening a matryoshka -- box inside a box inside... you get the idea. :)

The relevant components were also wrapped with foam on the tips and all components, other than a screw (more in a bit), just screamed quality IMHO. The bar that connects the two halves is one solid chunk of aluminum.

Each screw and such is in its own bag, which makes it easier to sort out and figure what is needed where. There was enough of every piece to build the screen, with at least one extra screw or hook left over. I'm...

Toshiba 50L2300U 50-Inch 1080p 60Hz LED HDTV (Black with gun metal trim)

The prior review almost scared me off. Glad I didn't listen.
I had ordered this TV and right after placing the order, I read the review that was written just before mine. I actually tried to cancel the TV based on that review, but it had already shipped. I'm glad that I couldn't cancel, because the truth is that it's a very nice HDTV.

Someone described this TV as flimsy and such. I disagree with that assessment. Sure, it's lightweight, but that's been the general trend with these TVs for years now. They're getting lighter, they're getting less expensive and they're getting better. Nothing wrong with any of that.

I also do not have any strange light coming from any strange places. Every thing looks and works as it should.

Assembly was simple. 4 screws secure the stand to the base. Slide the stand into the HDTV and secure with 2 more screws. Very easy.

Once plugged in, the TV scans for available channels and does so faster than most. Sound quality is good for a TV of this size and price...

First HDTV for my friends
I ordered this TV for friends of mine since I loved my Toshiba 24 inch HDTV. This is their first HDTV, having used an analog with converter box and they love it. It arrived well packed and protected. It was easy to unpack and uncomplicated to assemble to the stand which is square and stable beneath the TV; a little wriggling got even small tight screws (only 6 ea.) to match up perfectly so don't force them. The trick is finger tighten all of them, THEN tighten securely otherwise you risk mismatched holes. Takes maybe 10 minutes from unpacking to plug in.

After plug-in and "ON", the TV goes right to 2 basic setup options. One for cable setup and the other option was channel scan and that's what we did.

PACKAGING: Be aware the TV arrives in original box, plainly visible as a TV. If you deliver to an exposed doorstep, you might want to use Amazon's "gift packaging" which puts it inside a plain brown shipping box.

SCREEN: The screen is matte finish...

Great LED tv for the price
Just received this tv and noticed there are no reviews, This model must be new so I'll be the first :) The tv is great out of the box (not perfect) but great. The picture is decent but once dynamic mode is turned on, everything is pushed to the max without going overboard and at the same time, makes any other preset modes somewhat useless aka movie, sports, game and standard. I have the 39" and the overall look is great, a very modern look and easy to setup. The tv boasts dynamic picture 1080P 120 hz refresh, usb and hd pc hookup along with decent sound as well. The only thing I really noticed I did not like after I adjusted the picture and sound settings to my liking is that unlike my previous Vizio. I can't adjust this tv to smooth or true cinema motion to change the refresh rate to 120 or mimic it like my old vizio. The option is under the picture settings but its grayed out no matter what input I select or setting I use? This maybe due to the fact that none of the devices I...

Samsung UN55J6300 55-Inch TV with BD-J5900 Blu-ray Player

the J6300 looks amazing out of the box and doesn't require much tinkering
I wasn't ready to make the leap to 4K, especially considering that there's hardly anything currently being broadcast / streamed in 4K. I warmly welcomed Samsung's new 1080p display for 2015 and it delivers upon expectations. While initial settings could always use a slight tweak, the J6300 looks amazing out of the box and doesn't require much tinkering. The App selection is a little light at the moment, but considering the new model and new OS, it's to be expected. This TV is replacing an older set that was pretty useless during sunlight hours - the J6300 adjusts to ambient room light via its Eco-sensor and looks great under all circumstances. I was also pleasantly surprised by the sound on this unit considering its small frame. Good, bad, indifferent: I can now see every wrinkle, crack, freckle, crease, and mark on some of my favorite TV characters! Great quality, great price. Enjoy.

It is replacing an 8 year old Samsung DLP 1080p that pretty much ran 15 hours a day
Just received mine today and the picture is awesome--almost looks3D. It is replacing an 8 year old Samsung DLP 1080p that pretty much ran 15 hours a day. We have only purchased Samsung TVs for at least 10 years now. My only complaint is that now when I change the volume with my Direct TV remote there is a clicking sound with every step up or down in volume. I'm trying to figure out how to disable that, if possible.

Beware of lesser quality outsourced LED panels
This information is strictly for prospective buyers who want a Samsung set with a Samsung panel. Samsung is increasing the amount of inferior panels out of Taiwan. These include panels from AUO and Innolux. Samsung also uses Sharp panels in their 60" sizes but this year the UN60J6300 has a AUO panel. AUO and Innolux panels will give your lower contrast ratios, poorer black levels and degraded motion handling. I know because I have last years UN65H6350 which has the exact panel as this years 65" size. I also did a side by side comparison with the 55" and the 75". I was fortunate to have several local folks agree to bring their sets over. We fed all three sets with the same Blur ray sources and FIOS tv. The 55" and 75" with the Samsung panels had superior contrast levels and black levels. Motion handling was also much better. There is a real world difference between these panels. Also you can find your panel at panel look and even the specs are different. You...

Hisense 55T710DW 55-Inch 1080p 120Hz 3D Internet LED HDTV

Excellent TV !!
Hisense is giving big name brands a run for their money! We now own 3 Hisense TV's. I've always been a big fan of Samsung and trying a brand that was new to the TV market was a little scary; however, for all the bells and whistles that this TV offers stacked up against another brand with same features - this TV was half the cost! We've had the 46" Hisense TV for about 6 months. The 65" and a 42" Hisense, we've had for a little over a month. So far so good. Plug and play out of the box, but those who like to tweek I think just about everything in this TV can be! Also, we love all the inputs and we are using most of them!

Can't really comment on Wi-fi features as we have ethernet wired in the house and the 65" has our media center computer hooked to it. TV sound is OK but let's face it - if you are considering a 65" TV you would likely have some sort of home theater system. Love the slim design and frame.

3D features are awesome! Even...

High quality 65" tv, budget price, but with motion issues
Purchased the Hisense 65" at $1499, can't beat that price (free shipping on prime).
Comes with VUDU and Netflix apps, no Amazon (love Amazon video, hopefully that's added soon).

TV has a solid base, quite heavy actually, requires assembly. Assembly was relatively simple, and swivel on base works quite well.

Watched Tron: Legacy in 3D on the tv, looked amazing. That movie has heavy use of blacks, and some great 3D effects, all came across quite well.

Love the remote. TV was easy to set up, easy to use.

Screen is apparently made by Hitachi, which explains the high quality. There's nothing about this TV to suggest low quality or budget, aside from the brand name that people won't recognize :-)

Only complaints that I have:
- No Amazon Instant Video app (not a major negative, since I can watch via game consoles)
- No setting to disable the "soap opera effect" (motion interpolation). According to google search, other...

Best TV we ever owned
My Bride of 55 years and I decided to get one of those "Smart TV's" , so I went to Wal-Marts in Xenia, Ohio to see if we could get a deal on a new smart TV. I looked around seeing all those high prices for a 55" or 60" TV and decided to ask the sales lady if they had and "open box or returns" on big TV's. She showed me a Hisense 55" [55K610GWN]. I saw new ones in the isle but she had one just returned for $545. I knew nothing about the brand but checked it out and it is the 5th. leading TV sold in China and it had the full warren......so I purchased it with the OK to bring it back if it didn't work. We got it home and started putting it together and found that the folks that first got it didn't know how to put the base onto the TV. After getting the right bolts from my stash and downloading the manual for TV, we had it up and running in no time. WOW....when they say SMART TV they aren't kidding. This thing has all a person would want: Netflix,...

PS3 Slim 250GB Little Big Planet Karting Move Bundle (PlayStation 3)

Great deal !
My old "fatboy" 5 year old PS3 fianlly bit the dust this weekend (R.I.P.)
The dreaded YLOD had finally caught up to my old friend.
(to everyone with an older system -i advise you to back up your DLC's and games) as i lost everything...
After doing research on YLOD and contacting Sony for a repair price..i decided it was best to just get a new system.
I love Amazon, but i actually got ours at Wal-Mart for 289.00 plus tax.
We will have to start all over, but hey there are worse things in life to have to endure.
Blu-Ray is working awesome and you get a move camera, controller, steering wheel and a dual shock controller.
I wasn't really into Little Big Planet, but my Son loves it and this game is pretty darn cool.
Of all the bundle's i've seen (for family at least) this is the one to get.
Don't but single base units anymore, they are not a good bargain for the money.
Have fun fellow gamers!!

Excellent
Because it allows you to rate the seller to serve as a reference to others who want to buy.
What I like is the commitment that this product exists and recommend it to all those who need it

Good Purchase
It came fast and with all the components they put in the description and works perfectly. As a gamer I recommend it.

PlayStation 3 160GB Call of Duty: Black Ops Bundle

Proud Playstation Owner :)
For the past year I've been relying on my roomates xbox 360 as my source of gaming entertainment, even though i had been with playstation since the first one came out. I like the xbox 360, one of the most attracting aspects of it were its affordability and well halo of course. Well my roomate moved out a few weeks back so i decided that i would buy a playstation 3 since i was now console-less. I also had created a PSN account in december so I qualify for the PSN Welcome Back promotion ;) I ordered this particular bundle because I played black ops on xbox and enjoyed so i couldnt resist this deal! I will admit that i was planning on buying the original bundle with the $60 amazon promotional credit, but the promotion expired a few days before i was planning on buying it, so i fell back to the black ops bundle. Its only been a few hours since I unboxed my playstation and i am glad that i decided to buy it. Ive already played through some black ops and god of war 3 and the graphics are...

Finally settled down with a PS3
After not having a PS3 for a long time going, I finally settled down with one. A lot of my PS3-toting friends play Black Ops, so this worked out well for me. I already have an Xbox 360 and a Wii and I love those as well. I am an avid gamer and am happy to finally have all three current generation home consoles. Overall, the system works and looks great and I'm sure I'll use it for many years!

Best Deal Ever!
I have never seen a better deal, more like a steal! For a PS3 160GB System by itself it costs 299.99, in which you are getting an extra $115 dollars in value. $50 Game + $15 Map Pack + $50 Gift Card = $115 Savings!

HP TouchSmart 520-1020 All-in-One Desktop (2.6 GHz Intel Pentium Processor, 4GB DDR3, 500GB HDD, Windows 7 Home Premium) Black

Absolutely love this computer
I've had my HP 520-1020 all-in-one touchscreen computer for a couple of days now. It arrived in only 3 days from TN to TX with the standard amazon free shipping for items over $25. Since it doesn't have a tower, I have my HP sitting on a cart with rollers next to my bed so I can get online or watch movies after I get in bed at night. It has an on-screen keyboard that I can pull up to use from my bed in the dark, so I won't have to bother with the wireless keyboard and mouse. It also has a writing box that I can pull up and either print sentences or write them in longhand. Then it types what I write and inserts it into new emails, etc.
For watching movies, the picture couldn't be more perfect on the 23" screen. And the Beats sound system speakers sound almost as good as my 1,000 watt home theater system. If I turned the volume up all the way, it would blast me out. No need for external speakers! I absolutely love it. The only thing is, HP left some critical info out of the owners'...

Great affordable computer
I purchased this from Amazon on Saturday, it showed up three days
later, with free delivery. Very easy to get up and running, keyboard
and mouse are wireless, and batteries were already in both. Computer
is very well put together, it's made of high grade materials and solid.
Inasmuch as its a all in one, I am very surprised at how quiet the monitor
is, because that's where the whole computer is, in the monitor.

The only difference I can tell between this and the more expensive
HP all in ones seems to be a faster intel chip, more memory, and a tv tuner.
The computer that I bought is so fast, I can't imagine why you'd need a
faster processor, and I can buy a USB tv tuner for around $60.00 to turn
this into a high def tv. I am very happy with this purchase, so far.
Keeping my fingers crossed. Touchscreen works fine, like a iPad, but
I like using the mouse, so touch screen isn't important to me.

Very happy with our purchase
My husband and I went to Best Buy last weekend to purchase a new home computer. I did a little homework and was thinking that we'd settle on a Gateway all in one computer; however, the sound system was not very good and the sales rep showed us an HP all in one. We both liked it immediately. The Beats Audio is great for listening to music, watching movies, and videos- great sound quality. Once we expressed interest in purchasing this particular computer they started in on all the warranty and "protection" BS. We decided to go home and do some searching online for reviews on this particular model before we committed. I went online and the reviews were generally great. I ended up reading a couple on Amazon and thought why the hec should we buy this computer at Best Buy??? We'd never bought any large ticket items online before but I have friends who've done it and the Amazon reviews pretty much indicated that the customer service with Amazon was stellar. Got over the mental hurdle...

Toshiba 84L9300U 84-Inch 4k Ultra HD 240Hz 3D Smart LED HDTV (Black with gun metal trim)

Ultra HD...is ultra special
I have had this TV for 2 days and I am amazed at the picture, brightness and great contrast. The black levels are superb and 1080p upscaling is great, even was able to stream Amazon Instant Video wirelessly using -N 5ghz wifi at 1080p and it was like seeing it in person. The 3-D works well even with converting normal 2D shows, and I can't see pixels at all unless I am within 6 inches of the TV.

I moved closer to sit within 5 feet specifically for this TV, and it is worth it. Remastered 4K source Blurays look great, and the deep color of this set makes water and trees and depth perception look so real. The local dimming really creates darker shadows and makes dark shows like Game Of Thrones look even more realistic. For example, looking at flickering candles in upscaled 1080p, you can see the blue halo of candle flame tips and the red-orange around the wicks.

It was easier to mount as it weighed less than the 46" LCD older TV I dismounted from the wall...and the...

Great UHD for a good price
I have owned this TV for nearly a week now and it is very sharp. The upscale of the full HD to UHD is nice and smooth but not noticeable enough on a 65 inch screen from 7 feet away. It still has the best picture quality of any TV I have ever owned. The internet TV features are pretty standard and not as fancy as the Samsung interface but it works just fine. Toshiba stills needs to add the HBO GO app along with many others but I am sure those will be added in time. The sound is also very average for an LED TV but that is to be expected. I recommend going with a nice sound bar or a theater surround sound system if you have the resources.

The best part about this particular television is the passive 3D. It is by far the best in home (non-projector) 3D experience that I have seen so far. The 3D is in full HD (1080p) using passive 3D glasses without the need battery operated glasses (active 3D). I have owned a Samsung plasma with active 3D and have experienced a lot of...

Let me first state, I dislike “smart TV’s”. Basically a “smart TV” is the mash-up of a display and a computer- but think more android tablet then desktop pc. My dislike comes for the fact that 1) it’s a “crippled” computer and 2) the “user interface” for smart TV’s – the remote is the worst way to interface with a computer EVER devised! That said the 58L9300u can be reviewed in two ways, as a smart TV, or as a monitor.

Who watches TV via coax anymore? Today very few people actually watch TV as they use to in the ‘90’s...

PS3 320 GB PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection Bundle

Great deal!
Personally, though skeptical, I ended up loving being a Plus member. (Since PS3 reviews abound, and the Plus subscription is the selling point of this bundle, that's all I'm going to discuss.) I decided to try the 3 month plan and within a month I realized the Bargain and Upgraded to a year.

Here is the gist of it:
Costs $50 yearly (Less than $5/month. Compare to Netflix or Amazon Prime..but with unique content.)

Includes services like 1 gig of cloud storage and automatic game saves/system updates. (this alone might be worth a few bucks each month.)

Then there are the games. Here are some that I downloaded since my purchase until now.(June-October 2012)
Infamous 2,
Little Big Planet 2,
Borderlands,
The first two episodes the Walking Dead game,
Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One,
Starhawk (solo campaign),
Scott Pilgrim Vs The World: The Game
Double Dragon Neon
Pac-Man Championship Edition DX...

Best bundle for PS3
I've had Playstation+ since it began and I have not been disappointed, even before they started putting full disc games on there. While this is not a traditional console bundle, with a disc game or extra controller, this is the highest value bundle you can possibly get.

1 year of playstation+ means somewhere in the vain of 30-40 free games within the year in addition to numerous sales. It means you can use your cloud storage for saved game files (Just in case) and it means you can set your console to auto-update every night while your sleeping to update all the games you're playing and complete any downloads you started. And yes, once the memberhsip ends, the features end... but for 50 bucks a year... It's worth every penny to continue your account.

One thing to note, every Tuesday night when the playstation store updates you should go on there, see what's new, and 'buy' all the new Playstation+ free stuff. By making that 'purchase', even if you choose not to...

You know what you're getting.
Let's face it. The PS3 has been out for years. Nothing I say in a review can possibly bring anything new to light. The fact of the matter is that I want a Slim instead of the newer Super Slim because I want the auto-load feature. Combine that with the fact that a year's subscription to Playstation Plus costs more than any of the games I've seen bundled with the Slim and this is the best bundle. At this point you either want a PS3 or you don't. If you want one then maybe you'll agree with me that this particular bundle is the best bang for your buck.

Toshiba 39L1350U 39-Inch 1080p 120Hz LED HDTV

All the right stuff
We purchased this TV, after deciding that we weren't interested in having our "smart" TV built in. We have an Apple Smart TV, and can always consider upgrades to this (developing and fairly inexpensive) technology. Our Sony dvd player handles our streaming needs quite well; so, otherwise what we wanted was a quality TV with a beautiful picture, as well as enough inputs/outputs to give us flexibility with our needs.
This Toshiba (32L1350U) is truly a beautiful set - especially for the price! (I went ahead and took Amazon's credit card and received the $50 gift certificate - so that came off the price.) This TV has true stereo analog outputs (full size - not a single, mini-"headphone" jack, audio output), so you can easily go through a stereo receiver to quality speakers. Otherwise, 3 HDMI jacks (cable box, dvd player, etc.); as well as a PC port, and a USB, if you must use it as a computer monitor.
It has absolutely beautiful color definition, a small frame -...

Performance of a Samsung, without the price! Superb efficiency!
This is a review for the 39" version.

While Samsung is likely over-rated, Toshiba is equally under-rated. This TV puts out a great picture AND sound. This is also one of the most efficient TV's on the market.

Pro:
O Great Picture. Although not always 120hz (it depends on the source), the picture is fantastic. Realistic color representation. Works great as PC display (I use mine as part of a Home Theater PC setup). Great viewing angle. Plenty bright even with natural sunlight coming in the room.
O No "fancy" frills. Forget "smart tvs", let TV manufacturer do what they do best: make a TV! You can buy a dvd player, apple tv, roku, etc that does everything a smart tv can do. I personally let my HTPC running Windows Media Center do all the heavy lifting.
O Has all the outputs you need. Lately alot of manufactures are cutting back on outputs, probably keep the displays as thin/light as possible. This has output for analog audio (goes to my...

AWFUL Customer Service Experience
I purchased two of the 29L1350U LCD monitors to use as in a CCTV application. Within a few months of installation each of the units displayed instances of random power cycling (the monitors will power off and back on during use). An internet search of this phenomenon indicates that my monitors are not unique in this behavior.

One unit has only performed this random power cycle on three occasions over six months (and though annoying, this will seem acceptable as you read on). The second TV, however, is unusable, as it power cycles four or more times per hour - in some instances requiring unplugging for several minutes before it will resume function.

The defective unit is less than six months old, so after contacting their customer service, I sent it to a Toshiba authorized repair depot. I was responsible for shipping, which is frustrating, but acceptable. The unit was allegedly "repaired" (a new motherboard was installed) but upon its return it exhibited the...

Sony STR-DA5800ES 9.2 Channel 4K AV Receiver with Automation

Best sound quality I have heard from an AVR, but the GUI is lacking
I've been a Denon guy for many years. I caught this Sony AVR on sale for just over half the list price, so I decided to make a switch. The main thing to note is that the power and the quality of sound is impressive to say the least....really outstanding.

Having said that, though, here is what I miss from my Denon (specifically the Denon X3000):

Immediate, on-screen display of the volume level: This is what I miss the most. With my Denon, when I adjusted the volume from the remote, I got a bar across the bottom of the television screen to indicate the change. The Sony does not have this; it only shows it numerically on the AVR screen. I have a fairly large television room (thus the need for a powerful AVR), and I need to look through a pair of binoculars if I want to see the volume change.

On-screen display of sound settings: Similar to the volume display, with the Denon, you push one button on the remote, a list of sound setting options come up...

Completely Blown Away
I did a strait swap-out of my Onkyo TX-NR1009 last night (same wiring, same HDMI connections, speakers, etc) and I have to say that the difference couldn't be more profound. The audio quality for music and bluray playback is simply phenomenal. The sound is much cleaner with superb clarity in the midrange I couldn't get with the Onkyo. I have Polk Rti A7's (bi-amped), a CSI A4, DSWpro550, and A3's for front-high, and surround. I wouldn't have believed the overall improvement in quality was possible in the same room with the same speakers.

Pro's:
- Super fast speaker auto-calibration that works. Sony provides a binaural mic that is spaced-out horizontally to simulate your ears. The process takes all of two minutes unlike the Audyssey implementation Onkyo uses, which generally takes 30 minutes and is nowhere as effective.
- Setup is fairly straight forward, use the easy setup wizard though and customize after
- Enough connectivity options to handle about any...

Sony STR-DA5800ES 9.2
I've been with Sony products since 1998, yes it's about 14 years, before I’ve perches this model i used to have the DA5400ES 7.1 channel and it was great except for two things, it doesn't have LAN internet connection and can't pass Blu-ray 3D. the new one it has 4 holes for Ethernet so you can connect your DVD player and it helps to updating the soft wear for your devices in time and of caurse you can watch Blu-ray 3D. But it has Disadvantages let me mention two main things; the first one is the volume every time when you want to adjust it you have to look at the receiver because it doesn't appear on the TV screen like the previous model so if you are in adistance from the Receiver like me you would face a problem. The second One is the menu or home option for choosing the type of the surround for your home theater you have to go to the main menu every time to see the types but the previous model was easier there is a button in the remote that makes it so easy and fast to...

Nice bundle
That's a nice choice, it comes with the game and also gives you a bonus code to 3 Unlock Points to use on the weapon or ability of your choice, and also includes the Killzone 3 Retro Map Pack, featuring two of the most popular maps from Killzone 2. The box is beautiful by the way.

Great Bundle for a wonderful price.
I bought this for a friend of mine's birthday. It's a great deal, but I do wish the console were a special edition version like what was released for Metal Gear Solid 4 in Japan. Even if it were just a white console, that would have been cool. Oh well, this is a fantastic buy and Killzone 3 is great. Better controls than Killzone 2, decent continuing story from the Killzone universe, and an absolute graphical masterpiece. If this is your first PS3, I highly recommend Killzone 2, Resistance, Resistance2, the God of War Collection, God of War 3, Uncharted, Uncharted 2, and Metal Gear Solid 4 (only if you know and understand the Metal Gear series and don't mind a lot of cut scenes). PS3 has become my favorite console (I do own a Wii and 360) and if it weren't for the fact that I have a lot of friends on Xbox Live this would probably be my only primary console. This is still one of the best Blu-Ray players, you can watch Netflix streaming service without having to pay extra like you do...

Nice Bundle
Great bundle with one of the best games released to date for the PS3. Would have liked to see an extra controller or at least an HDMI cable but for 299 it's still a great price because you're essentially getting the game free with some nice extras (3 unlock points) and a map pack for free as well.

Simple Shelving Solutions BLG-00036 36-Inch Floating Shelf for Stationary and Tilt TV Wall Mount for 32-60 Inch TVs - Black Glass

love it
We just remodeled our family room and this product has brought it all together. With the floating shelf I don't have video and gaming systems all over the floor and all those wire are finally hidden. I love this product. Easy to install and a great look.

Great product!
The product perfectly fits with my previously mounted TV. Everything was as specified, size, color... Mounting very easy and quick.

So freakin easy to install
Uses your existing TV mount so no new drilling, screwing, etc. into the drywall studs. Looks very nice and integrated.

PlayStation 3 120GB System with Killzone 2 and inFAMOUS - 2009 Black Friday Bundle

Patience is rewarded
All those who patiently waited for the proverbial bottom to fall on the PS3 price, this must be 'it'. At $299 for a PS3, 2 games and a $10 gift card, it's unlikely that it's going to get any better than this, at least this year.

Click here for PlayStation 3 120 GB, Infamous and Killzone 2 information and reviews.

Those who don't find these specific two games appealing should be aware that other BLACK FRIDAY BUNDLES, packing different games are available from other merchants [on Nov. 27]. Check the comment to this review for information on who offers these] bundles.

- inFAMOUS, Killzone 2 and $10 Black Friday credit (Amazon's)
- LittleBigPlanet: Game of the Year and Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time.
- God of War Collection...

Great Bundle
If your reading this I have to ask this. Why? This is a win win situation. Two great games and a PS3. Buy this now before there gone. For all you parents out there both of these games are rated 9 out of 10 on most game sites so these arent just crappy bundle games that you tend to get with other bundles. BUY BUY BUY!!!!

The best deal in this year's Black Friday
PS3 slim with inFamous and Killzone 2. inFamous 2 is a GTA-styled game, but with better graphics, better gameplay (electric shock baby!!!),and twisted endings. Killzone 2 is considered as one of the best FPS this year and also one of the best PS3 exclusives. I know most people are currently playing MW2 (including me), but this game can't be missed by any FPS' fans. PS3 slim has almost similar features with the "phat" version, except Linux (That's all I can recalled). Still no backwards feature, so just get $99 PS2 if you want to play PS2 games. Although I believe that this can play PS1 games( not all, but some). I don't need to talk a lot about this bundle, since what included here are already known by most people. Go grab one, since there is no tax and you can get free shipping!!

Sony STR-DA2800ES 7.2 Channel 4K AV Receiver with Automation

Great Sounds - Be Careful of features
First, I am not using this receiver with the Control4 module (yet). I am just using it as a stand alone receiver. I have had the unit for two weeks.

The Good:
The sound and power handling of this unit are fantastic. I have it set to power a 5.1 Klipsch in-wall system and is smooths out the pitchyness of the speakers. Set-up of sound to customize room acoustics was incredibly easy.

The set up GUI is very user friendly.

The netflix one-touch button is very nice and quick. My receiver is hardwired and I get about 8mbs download speeds. No stuttering or glitching.

The Bad:
The instruction manual...well it sucks.

No volume indication projected on the TV screen. Kinda annoying because all other equipment I have had did this. May take a bit of getting used to.

Sony tech support. They suck too. Why? Because they were not well-versed in all the features of the receiver. I had called them on the below issues...

Great functions and performance, but
I ordered this reciever as an upgrade to my home theater. Setup was simple and the performance is excellent. The interface is relatively simple to configure and internet video works well. The "but" is due to connectivity issues around of all things a Sony 3D Bluray player. When the player is directly connected to my projector the HDMI works fine and I have access to the players menu system. However, when connected through the reciever, the bluray player is not detected until I start a movie. The player menu can not be used when connected through the reciever. I spent a couple of hours moving HDMI cables to different ports. It once allowed the player menu but then revertered to its default behavior of no player menu. If this were not an issue then it would have recieved 5 stars. The automatic configuration using the microphone input is a real plus.

My New Toy
I recently upgraded to this model from an all in one home theatre system and I am loving it so far. I have barely scratched the surface of all the options I have available to me now.

Plenty of HDMI ports on the back for all of your possible needs. I have mine hooked up to my DirectTV, XBOX 360, PS3, BluRay player on the input side with enough room for another 4 or 5 devices. On the output side I have this running just to my 70 in Sony TV so I still have room to expand to a 2nd set of outputs in case I want to run an HDMI to the next room and play PS3 in room 2 while wathching DirectTV in room1.

Sounds is excellent. In combination with the upgraded receiver, I also have upgraded my speakers and it is paying dividends. My wife and kids are now complaining more about the speakers being too loud, so that is a bonus. When I turn them down to an "acceptable level", I still get the surround sound experience and love it!

Over the next year, I hope to be...

Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 3020e 2D and 3D 1080p Wireless Home Theater Projector

Thing of beauty
I have a large master bedroom, needed a big TV to watch the late night football games and the occasional movie. Had to get a big size TV (atleast 80") for a room of this size. Did a lot of research and was pushing off the TV purchase because of the exorbitant cost of such a big TV. Started looking into projectors, looked at the optoma and a few other brands, was getting a few good reviews and some so so reviews. My friend who had come over mentioned that he had the Epson 3010 and he likes it.
So decided to go to the local best buy and they had the later model 3020, read some reviews and pulled the trigger.
Got it home, fired it up and Wow....
Without any calibration we had 130" of awesomeness in our bedroom.
Got a 120" fixed screen and now project it up there, we are both blown away by this. At a fraction of the cost we have a home theater in our bedroom. Way better than any TV at the size/cost.
After getting comfortable with this, I swapped this for the 3020e...

The wireless transmitter doesn't work at all
I am sure people might wonder if everyone else is giving this projector 5 stars why am I giving it one. It is all due to the wireless transmitter. Th main difference between the 3020 and the 3020e is the wireless feature however it doesn't work. I read in other reviews that at times this could happen but I took my chances and regret it now.

I have our projector mounted ten feet from the transmitter with no obstructions in the way of its view and it fails to connect every time. You have to go through resetting, turning items on and off and hoping that it might connect eventually. When it finally does connect it says it has 100% strength so there is no reason it should not have connected in the first place.

I bought this model because I didn't want to have to run HDMI cables but I will be returning this projector tomorrow because right now it is a very expensive paper weight. I recommend saving yourself the frustration and going with the 3020, it's about 500...

A Thing of Beauty
This projector is a thing of beauty. I replaced my old DLP projector with this and the first thing I noticed was how much bigger and heavier it is when compared to my older 720p unit. I was initially worried whether or not my self installed ceiling bracket would support it. It was very difficult to do by myself but I managed to get it installed in the ceiling mount by myself. I strongly suggest getting help if you plan on a ceiling mount of this projector. I does have speakers in it, which, my old unit did not have, but that does not account for all the weight, it is just a more substantial and obviously well constructed piece of electronics. The speakers by the way really surprised me and I have found myself electing them over my thundering sound system for many movies. At first I did not think I would be impressed by the 3D function. I did not have any 3D disc yet so I ran out and get the animated movie "UP" for my first 3D disc. The unit comes with to sets of...

Samsung UN50J6300 50-Inch TV with BD-J5900 Blu-ray Player

the J6300 looks amazing out of the box and doesn't require much tinkering

You...

BenQ MW621ST Projector

Great projector!
I'm an artist. I bought this projector to mount to the ceiling, bounce the image on a mirror down to a table where I can sketch
a large image on paper. This is the only projector I found that is a short throw with WXGA resolution and has manual 1:1.2 zoom
and has a USB-A port for thumb drive image input. Its got it all. It works very well for my needs. Great projector!!

Four Stars
Very nice unit, as advertised and worked without setup right out of the box.
