Great in Ear Headphones
I purchased these on a whim. I had been disappointed in most ear-bud type headphones, but hoped the JBLs would be the answer, and they are. Not overly expensive as some "super high-rated" devices. These are for the common-man looking for a decent and well-performing set of headphones that look good and provide the ass-kicking sounds one expects from a JBL product. They match up perfectly with both my smart-phone or iPod. What also pleases me is the cable...yes, cable. Finally one that doesn't twist in the wind, and get all tangled with other wired devices. There is no doubt as to what device belongs to these. They probably could have added some bling to raise the price, but tough guys can use these and not look like sissies. Like all ear-buds, take the time to find the cushion that fits you. Once you do, you'll find these fit nicely and won't have a tendency to fall out or get sore while on an airline flight. Noise-cancelling is also surprisingly efficient.
