A much needed improvement over the SIE2i earbuds
I had a pair of Bose SIE2i earbuds and the Freestyle Earbuds are essentially the same thing, just in a different package that has been vastly improved. The Freestyle earbuds rely on the same Triport drivers as the SIE2, SIE2i, MIE2, and MIE2i earbuds so they have the exact same sound quality. People who enjoyed those previous four models will continue to enjoy these. The bass isn't blown out and almost equal attention is given to the lows, mids, and highs. I say "almost" as more attention is given to the highs compared to the mids but it's still more balanced than previous Bose entries (i.e. before the previous four models). These use the same StayHear tips as all the other IE2 earbuds which I have always found to be extremely comfortable. I can wear these earbuds all day without any physical issues and they don't fall out. My biggest issue with most earbuds, especially the ones that have to create a seal with your ear canal, is that they never stay in. They always end...
Worth every penny!
I've never written a review before, but these headphones make me so happy I decided the Amazon community should know about them.
As a college student, I basically take headphones everywhere I go and they go through A LOT. I've gone through countless pairs of cheap headphones and finally received these as a gift. Admittedly I never knew much about sound quality and all that jazz but now I can definitely see why people drop money on quality headphones because these took my listening experience to another level. The sound is really rich and they pick up details in songs that I completely oblivious to before. The ear piece is wonderful for my tiny ear canals (I use the small size) and they are definitely not as obnoxious as straight-up earbuds are (I really hate those), these sit nicely in your ear to where they are comfortable and not going to fall out. I would definitely recommend these to anyone, and they make a perfect gift.

It works with LG, Nokia, and Sony phones too
I purchased this buds specially for my Samsung Note 8 and LG G3. I have had Bose IE series for years, but one of the complaints is lacking volume control for Android devices.
I have several Samsung buds with mic+remote and tested them with LG G3 and all buttons work. Naturally, this buds remote works with LG G3 and now I don't have to take the phone out just for adjusting volume.
Out of curiosity, I tested the buds with different brands and models and found out it works with Sony (not Sony Ericsson) phones (I tested it with Xperia Ion) and everything works perfectly. The following models I tested and works as well
LG G2, G Flex, L90, Nexus 5
ZTE Max
I did not test Motorola phone because T-Mobile does not sell any.
Unfortunately, this bud does not work with HTC M8.
If you want a Bose buds and you want all buttons work with Samsung, LG, and Sony phones, buy it.
-----edit-----
After some more tests, I found this bud works with the...
