Excellent box.. Weird design blocks remote IR some times. Please Update your Rom. Factory OTA did not work Prior to 110K4109_1016 STOCK firmware update. There are 3 Firmwares active at this time that will allow you to, if you read the instructions, have up to 16G of App storage space.

Beware there is an issue with XBMC and the RK3288 regarding HDMI/SPDIF passthrough, This is not a hardware issue. passthrough works fine with MX PLayer.

Wonderful box for me, and maybe for some of you
I love this box, but I fall into a peculiar category of customer. I don't recommend it for the casual consumer. If you don't know Android and you want the best "easy to setup and use" experience, go for a Roku or a Fire TV or similar item. This box is for people who want an Android box that runs XMBC/Kodi, and are willing to fiddle to get what they want. I'm giving it 5 stars because I'm very happy with it, and I fall into the latter category. If I were a casual consumer, I'd give it two.

If you haven't messed with these kinds of boxes, be warned that you won't get HD from Netflix or Hulu. A box has to be Google certified for that, and this one is not. Most of these Chinese boxes aren't Google certified (I think MyGica may be by now). I have an old 1080i/720p TV, so this makes very little difference to me. And I have a Roku 2 XS if I really crave HD Netflix content. Obviously, I can't speak to the 4K ability of XMBC/Kodi because I do not have a 4K TV. I've seen...

Excellent device. Good packaging and fast delivery. The IR for the remote sucks. You need to open the hole more for the light to pass through. Please add more USB ports to the right side of device.
