Sennheiser CX 5.00G Black In-Ear Canal Headset

First Sennheiser Product - very pleased
This is my first Sennheiser product i have tried many other products for gaming / music, such as razer and steelseries to name a couple. And these earbuds sound far better then all of them, the sound is so crisp and clean. The bass is just right and not overpowering and the mids and highs are great too. They fit Snug into the ear and dont come out, and block out most sound around you. The wire is just about 2 - 2 and a half feet, its long enough for you to have your music / phone in your pocket and still have wiggle room. Just an overall great product for the price. I have no cons about the earbuds

Optimal quality-to-cost ratio
I needed an in-ear headset for my daily use with my motorcycle. I was a previous musicians so I know what to expect in terms of sound quality, robustness, and versatility. Sound quality first. The headset is not hi-end, nor it lies in the top ranked shelf but the sound quality is far high with respect to many the-same-cost headset and are not comparable with lower price gadget. I tested many brands, this are a bit lower level than Bose in-ear type, but the cost is actually half. The bass and treble are powerful, whereas midrange could have been more defined. I heard both classic, jazz, fusion, pop, and rock (I am crazy about music) and sometimes some midrange instruments are not so audible. Not a big issue but for sound purists this is a limitation. The hearing experience is great however especially when driving your bike in a croudy lane wearing your helmet. Thanks to the ear caps the noise is (almost) left outside and you can really enjoy the drive with your favorite music. One...

Great clarity...crisp and deliberate...much better than beats for rock and metal. Phone call use is good as well. Buttons work great. Not as loud as some others...but sound is very good. So...no sacrifice of sound for volume. Fit is good...stays in ear without constant adjustment.

Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 On-Ear Wireless - Black

So close but so far away
I was so looking forward to these headphones. I've owned the Momentum wired on-ear headphones for a year now and have enjoyed them tremendously for their portability, light-weight, comfort and very reasonably good sound. They sit front and center in my messenger bag whenever I'm traveling anywhere and are a lot of fun for both music and movies on the tablet. Given that I got them at a very attractive discount to MSRP, they have been a keeper.

But. Whenever I use my fitness bluetooth earphones, I always enjoy not having the cord. As a result, and despite the pretty high price, I decided to give the Sennheiser Momentum wireless on-ear headphones a try. Long story short, they are average, plain and simple. Here's the rundown:

Form.
They are beautiful. Period. The quality of construction is superb and while they are heavier, they are not THAT much heavier than the wired versions. Perhaps just a bit top heavy because of some of the reinforcement under the...

Only pair of wireless headphones with Noise cancellation and Portability.
There are wireless headphones, there are portable headphones and there are noise canceling headphones. There are even headphones with combinations of two out of those three, but you will NOT find a pair of headphones with all three of those features (WIRELESS, PORTABLE, NOISE CANCELLING). Even better, it sounds pretty good.

This review tells you how it is based on first impressions. Whether it is a good or bad thing is highly subjective and solely based on what you would like in a pair of headphones. You can interpret each point as a positive or a negative depending on your preferences.

Sound: Sounds very good. Clear crisp vocals. Deep controlled bass more on the high than than low end. Volume gets loud enough; same volume as with a cable. Sound leakage is moderate in a quiet room, so using in a noisier environment should reduce detectable leakage.

Portability: It folds up nicely. The hard case is a bit large so will probably be better to use the pouch...

Perfect, if your device has the chops to drive them
This is easily the best pair of headphones I've ever owned. However, with Bluetooth, every review should include, front-and-center, which devices you tested them with. Bluetooth compatibility can be very fickle, and using sub-optimal codecs can lead to inferior results, which are not the fault of the headphones.

So I'm writing this review based on my experience with them on two devices: the Verizon/Samsung Galaxy Note 4 running Android 5.0.1; and the Avantree Saturn Pro bluetooth adapter connected by 3.5mm to my Windows 8.1 desktop.

As of 5/13/15, there is currently a bug on Android where any bluetooth device will occasionally "click" and "pop" during playback if the screen is off. This is NOT the fault of these headphones, so don't return them if you experience this. Instead, look for workarounds or updates to your device. You will find that these headphones do not exhibit that behavior on iPhones, Windows desktops, or almost anything else besides an Android...

Sennheiser PX 685i Adidas Headband In-Ear Sports Headphones - White

Super
Talking about the Sennheiser PX 685i headphones.

2 Pros:
* I just received these yesterday (1/2013) and they sound excellent. They are the best sounding ear plug headphones I've had.
* They look and feel super high quality and they are.

2 Cons:
* I personally like the over the head ear plugs as opposed to floating or behind the head type because the other styles just don't fit my eats and either fall out, hurt or don't sit right and I can't hear ...

These however actually hurt my ears. Problem is they were made too well. The rubber/plastic construction is so solid that the spring action to keep them on your head pulls them too tight against the ears and I have a small head. The pro hear is that the product does come with many attachments. I haven't tried those yet.

* I actually bought these headphones for listening to music on my Samsung phone ... Notice the "i" in the product name
PX 685i. That means the phone and...

Could have been a contender...
Overall, I am very disappointed in this set. For the price and brand name I was expecting much better. It's serviceable and others may feel happy with this set. I would not buy these again.

I am reviewing the Sennheiser PX 685i over-head headphones. I also own the yellow/black Sennheiser PMX 680 wraparound headphones, which are wearing out after a year of heavy use, and I am partly comparing these two. This PX 685i over-head set could have been a real contender to claim many runners' raves, but it seems that Sennheiser does not read any past reviews because it ignores what people write about headphones. The execution on this set is half-ass and the poor sound quality is inexcusable.

I have been searching long for a light over-head headphone set for running. Plugs don't fit and stay in place because of my ear shape. No one makes these over-head sets anymore except Sony, and they have a really crap version of these now. I miss the old folding version they...

Great pair of headphones for running
I love these headphones. Prior to purchasing them, I had read quite a few reviews and many people had mentioned that they had found them uncomfortable.
I find these really comfortable BUT only if you have the sponge heads (which are supplied) over the ear pieces.
If you don't put these on, it's very uncomfortable.
They don't move around and I think the sound quality perfectly adequate for my jogs.

Sennheiser HD 65 TV Closed Back Dynamic Headphones for TVs

Sennheiser HD65 - not just for TV!
The Sennheiser HD65 TV headset is advertised as being for listening to TV -- for which is it great, especially with the (detachable) wire extension that allows you to sit a decent distance from a TV. But in general it is far superior for listening to spoken audio than music-oriented headphones, which have too much bass bias. With full-coverage earpieces, the sound you want to hear is beautifully isolated from external sounds, which are very muted and in the background. That also means the volume can be kept quite modest -- and safe for your hearing.

I bought this headset for listening to audio that I do closed captioning for, and for general audio transcription of lectures, presentations, etc. It is ideally-suited because of the spoken-voice clarity. For that usage, it's as good as it gets.

Very disappointing
I purchased this set of headphones based on the fact that they are supposed to be designed for TV listening. After reading the specs, with neodymium magnets and independent left and right volume controls and all that, I figured that these headphones would do the trick. They didn't.

My hearing isn't great, but I can hear normal conversion well enough if there isn't too much background noise. When watching TV, I sometimes have a difficult time understanding the spoken word. I sometimes have to ask my wife "what did s/he say" even though the sound is turned up so that it is too loud for her. We always put on subtitles on any DVD that we watch, just so that I can understand what's going on. If people's voices were the same tone as the refrigerator, I'd have no problem.

When I received these headphones today, I immediately hooked them up to the back of the TV using the Y-cable adaptor Cables To...

Terrific Headset
Sennheiser HD 65 TV Closed Back Dynamic Headphones for TVsThis headset is everything the manufacturer claims it to be. It's very lightweight and sounds terrific for both voice and music. The volume control is a dual slider that is conveniently located on the cord and provides very smooth control over the volume. My TV has a separate headphone volume control which allows me to turn the volume up as loud as I want to, so I can't comment on the headphone volume from a fixed volume jack. The headphone impedance is 32 ohms, so you'll have to check your TV's Specs. for compatibility. My only complaint is that the ear cups are not totally "over the ear". If they were a bit larger they would rest completely against the head and not partially on the ear as they do.

Sennheiser RS 165 RF Wireless Headphone System

Uncomfortable, but otherwise amazing
I have only 1 complaint--these aren't really comfortable. There's something about the angle that creates too much pressure for me right in front of my ears behind my jawbones that I don't like at all. Adjusting the size up and down did not help. I have a medium-sized head, unremarkable really in size. So I had to take off a star, because comfort is a huge factor in something like this.

In terms of ease of use and performance, these are 5-star winners. There is an instruction manual on DVD, but for me, the quick start guide was enough to figure them out (it's not rocket science!). I had a little bit of trouble finding the on-button, but a half a minute of searching turned it up. I was hooked up and able to use them within 5 minutes of opening the box.

The sound quality is beautiful. I had no idea YouTube could sound that good! It was awesome to hear everything in stereo, crystal-clear. The range of the speakers is amazing; I was walking all over the...

Superior Range
Sometimes, my kids like to watch TV or play their Wii when there are adults in the room. Adults don't want the noise dialed up too loud. The kids can't hear over the adults. Cordless headphones are the perfect solution.

These were easy to set up. I just had to hook up a cable to the TV and plug the stand into the wall. Note that only an auxiliary cable is included. I had to dig around my cable drawer for a dual RCA red/white) cable. I ended up using an RCA cable with yellow and black plugs on one end and red, white, and yellow plugs on the other. I just left the extra plugs dangling.

To use, all I have to do is turn it on. If I want sound to only come out of the headset, I turn the TV volume down. The sound quality is everything I expect from Sennheiser - crisp and clear, with amazing sound separation I noticed from just watching TV. The range is incredible. The headphones don't have to see the stand. In fact, I walked away into another room behind the headphone...

Sennheiser RS 165 Review
I recently purchased these headphones for my wife because we have a child who is awoken by the noise of the television.

Pros
Very comfortable - easy to wear for extended periods of time.
Easy setup. Even though many TV's will need a RCA male to stereo female adapter. I have Samsung TV's.
Sound quality is very good. Bass is adequate but not overly present.
Convenient charging station as part of the transmitter dock.

Cons
Wish there was a bit more bass even with the bass boost on.

Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 On-Ear for Apple Devices - Black

Excellent sound quality at this price point
PROS:
Excellent sound for this price range
Excellent dynamic range
Clear bass
Crisp treble
Sound is smooth, natural, and not exaggerated
Folds compact
Replaceable cord

CONS:
Tightness is not adjustable
Suede padding on earpieces not as noise isolating as smooth leather or vinyl
Mic/Volume control too high up on the cord

The Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 earphones are a nice set of mid-range headphones that really give you a lot of bang for the buck.

The headphones are packaged with a nylon carrying bag, a padded carrying pouch, a quick start guide, and the headphones themselves. The headphones have a sort of retro, 1970s, lounge lizard kind of look. The earpieces are basically on tracks that move up and down and the wires that go over the headpieces are exposed. I'm not enamored of the ivory/brown suede/chrome color scheme, but they also come in basic black. They are hinged just where the chrome...

They Still Make Great Equipment!!!
There was a time I couldn't afford Sennheiser. With regard to sound quality you won't find a better set of headphones. Outstanding sound. Highs. Lows. Volume, I love these headphones. The sound controls aren't as strong. They work but not as well as others I've had. But I like the overall design of these and always have liked the way Sennheiser designs their products. They are tight and impressive

Great listening, but the in line controls do not work with our Galaxy phones.
I must first say that my ears are old. They have been around a while. I have always used hearing protection when in loud environment's because I have always enjoyed music and have tried to preserve my hearing. I used to be a real audiophile, using test records and matching different tapes to recorders replaying recorded white noise at different levels to find the "perfect" match of tape to machine and record level. Not so much any more. I am old and probably no longer to hear 14kHZ. I don't do that any more, I just enjoy the music
. These earphones are great. I have recorded my old vinyl onto high quality cassettes many years ago. These headphones replay the old music exactly as it was recorded. My Beatles white album sounds exactly like the record when it was played thru my Pioneer 650 and Marantz speakers years ago. Every needle pop and tape hiss is perfect. My mp3 files sound almost as good. I like these headphones a lot. They are lightweight, infinitely...

Sennheiser MM 450-X Wireless Bluetooth Headphones - Black

One of the better active noise cancelling headphones
The MM 450-X are probably the 10th set of active noise cancelling headphones I have tried. I currently own a pair of the less expensive Creative noise cancelling headphones and they have done well for me during my long flights and weekends cutting the grass. I have owned and returned 2 different versions of the Bose headphones and I have even owned and returned an earlier version of the Sennheiser MM's (the 350 I believe). The 450-X is the first wireless/bluetooth headset that I've tried.

First, the build is very similar to other Sennheisers. They are foldable for easy transport yet are quite beefy so should stand up with some light abuse. I wouldn't beat on these like I do some of my other headphones but they are pretty solid for the style.

I have used these primarily with my Iphone 4S and have used it for both wired and wireless/bluetooth connections. I listen to music on my Iphone every morning on my way to work on the train (mostly through music loaded...

Superb - a Non-audiophiles Review
I have to confess I am not an audiophile but Sennheiser is starting to change that. A year ago I got Sennheiser PXC 310 BT Compact Noise-Canceling Travel Headphones with Bluetooth Technology (Black) and I have fallen in love with them. When I got a chance to get a review pair for MM 450's I jumped. These are ever bit as good as old ones and I can't wait to use them on a flight soon.

--Use: It is very easy to pair these to blue tooth devices. I mostly use these in conjunction with an iPod Touch. In the evening I usually switch from speakers to headphones so as not to annoy the neighbors and the headphones take over immediately when I turn them on. Also I enjoy being able to skip forward and backward in the playlists by tapping the buttons on the ear piece. I still have issues with missed phone calls, but I get absolutely no distractions when working with them on (short of a fire alarm.)...

I am in love -- See ya QC15's!
First off, my review is from the vantage point of my primary use for these headphones -- and that is playing poker. So far I've worn these headphones for about 60 hours.

I will be the first to admit that the noise cancelling, while very good (IMO), is nowhere near as good as the QC15 headphones by Bose. I'm lucky that I have both sets of headphones, and I find myself using the Bose when flying simply because they are better for that purpose.

Once I land at the casino however, the Bose headphones stay in the room and these come out.

-- Size: They're smaller than the QC15s or the MM550s. Spend a few hours wearing them and you'll grow to appreciate the fact that your ears aren't sweating! Being smaller, it's also easier to leave muff off the ear so you can hear everything going on around you. The carrying bag is much smaller than the QC15s or MM550s (duh) and it has everything I need (headphone wire, USB cable to charge and extra battery). It is small...

Sennheiser PX 200-II i Lightweight Supra-Aural Headphones with 3 Button Control for iPod, iPhone, and iPad

Pretty decent sound. Compact and foldable for travel...
I have a few decent but modestly priced headphones but I needed a compact pair for travel. It needed to fit inside my small laptop backpack or carry bag without bulging out like a couple mangos or grapefruit! Since I hate the feel of in-ear phones and ear buds, I wanted a small pair of "regular" headphones that wouldn't take up a lot of space.

The Sennheiser PX-200-II are a great compromise between sound quality and portability. They're relatively small and fold-up and store inside the included drawstring bag. The sealed ear-cups block out some of the surrounding ambient noise and keep the music to yourself so you're not annoying others nearby.

As for sound quality, they're fine for travel and casual use. However, they're not as good as some others that I own. I did some listening observations comparing the Sennheisers against my other headphones. See photos above for physical shape and size comparisons.

1) Grado SR-80i (~$99): Most natural...

Class Act
After wrestling with several substandard experiences with in-ear iPhone buds, I finally settled on the PX 200-IIi's, and I'll never look back.

Build quality: These are solid, professional quality. There's no hint of "cheapness" anywhere.

Controller: The buttons have a solid feel, and are easy to find and press due to their raised profile and slightly "sharp" edge. No more fussing about searching for the right button.

Cord: Just the right length. There's no hint of "cord noise" when moving about, which is a huge problem for in-ear buds. The cord is also relatively tangle-free, and the simple single cord design works well and aids in the tangle-free nature. The plug is a slender design, which permits plugging into your iPhone, even with a case that encroaches upon the jack. Nice.

Comfort: Very lightweight, and just the right amount of headband tension make these extremely comfortable. The padding is high quality, and very soft...

excellent sound, microphone and controls work great
I have heard recommendations for the non headset version of these headphones before, and was very impressed with their sound quality. I have had a wide variety of full open and closed headphones as well as in ears over the years, and these are in a very nice lightweight, no hassle portable sweet spot. It took a bit of trial and error to find a comfortable wearing spot over my ears for long stretches but I've gotten the hang of it.

I like to wear the apple earbuds with the microphone / controls in them around the house so I can listen to music or podcasts as well as continue doing household things if I get a call on my iPhone during that time. However the apple headset was not durable and the microphone stopped working and the sound quality was not the greatest. With this headset I get all the same advantages but with MUCH better sound and a better microphone- plus since it points upward I don't have to worry about which direction it's pointing. I only have to worry...

Sennheiser PC 8 USB - Stereo USB Headset for PC and MAC with In-line Volume and Mute Control

It doesn't get much better than perfection!
This product was originally purchased for phone conversations and it definitely excels at that but their is more. It actually solve a major problem for me and that is doing training recordings, which is now possible because the mic doesn't pick up unwanted background noises. Also believe it or not this headset actually sounds good for listening to music I'm talking top of the line quality crystal clear sounds decent base for a headset. Obviously this will not compete with a professional audio earphone system but it doesn't cost $500 and you get decent music listening it is a hybrid of many talents.

If you need a real headset get this one I am very impressed. Anyone who says this headset is no good will never be satisfied with any headset as this thing performs well in all settings.

We are very happy with this headset
We are a Spanish language school (Spanish Institute of Puebla) and give Spanish classes over the Internet and these headsets work excellent... we normally recommend our students buy these for optimal on line classroom experience.

Very good sound, a bit uncomfortable, but great value for the price.
I teach online and bought this headset in order to create tutorials and make comments on student assignments. I have a recording studio and some high quality mics, but needed a simple USB mic for my purposes. The headset is truly plug and play--no drivers or other obstacles to deal with. The headset is recognized by Adobe Flash (very important for teaching online), and every recording program I have, including Adobe Audition, Adobe Captivate, and Studio One. It works within Canvas and Turnitin, for those who work in those teaching environments and want to create audio comments.
The audio quality is very good--once you get the mic positioned optimally and make a few adjustments to your sound card settings (I'm still using XP on my work computer). This is designed as a close mic, so the sound quality drops quite a bit as you get a half-inch or so away from optimal distance. But I'm pleased overall with the way my voice sounds in voice-over types of projects-- clear,...

Sennheiser PX 200 II Closed Mini Headphones with Integrated Vol Control (Black)

Better than expected
I have headphones on most of the day - every day. I was looking for a new pair, because the previous, behind the head, style really irritated me. So, I researched for quite a while before I found these. I was looking for a pair that was NOT over the ear, since I didn't want that weight and feel all day long. I was also looking for the single wire from one side and volume control. I would have settled for less, but luckily found these.

I am extremely impressed with the sound blocking. I was absolutely shocked at how much sound is blocked. It just doesn't seem possible, considering their small size. It's kinda weird actually. Because I wear them all day, there are times when the noise blocking is actually a hindrance, so I wind up moving one side off the ear so I can hear my surroundings. It's not ideal, but that is not the fault of the headphones.

They are very comfortable. I can literally wear them for 8 hours straight without the least bit of...

A solid pair of portable headphones
I bought these as a replacement for my broken PX 200s 1st edition. My experience with the 1st gens was that they were great overall, although they had the following cons:

1. The cable was made up of two individual wires. This meant that the cable would get tangled upon itself and just about every time id put them on, I would have to spin the cable around to get it straightened
2. The cable split to both ear pieces. This resulted in the cable always being directly under your chin which could at times be awkward
3. Extended use (1 hour or more) made my ears get sweaty, regardless of volume

The 2nd gens have corrected each of the above mentioned issues. The cable is one solid wire, meaning no tangles. The cable only connects to the LEFT ear piece, meaning that the wire goes down more gracefully by the side of your face. Ive worn them to the gym 3 or 4 times, and have not experienced much ear-sweat, if any.

Quality/Comfort

Everything But The Bass...
The earlier Sennheiser PX200 I series headphones were notorious dogs, featuring a recessed murky sound, rolled off mids and trebles, minimal bass, and a relatively high price. This new version of those headphones addresses most of the problems with the Mark I model, although they are not perfect, and the price has gotten higher.

The main challenge Senn faces here is to wring decent sound out a wee tiny roughly 30mm driver. Most other headphones these days, at least those beyond entry level pricing, offer drivers at least 10mm larger, so the PX200 has to do more with less. For the most part, this iteration of the design succeeds: the sound is extremely clear and detailed. Mids and trebles are perfectly balanced and very audible and distinct. Even more impressively, treble is not at all bright and these tiny phones manage to project an impressively large sound stage, especially for a small portable headphone. Presentation of audio is very forward, nothing recessed. The old...

Took time to get used to.
I previously used Sony and I thought these would be great. When I first got them they were extremely uncomfortable but as I would were them they adjusted to my head and with the different ear coverings I have grown to love them. So if you find them uncomfortable stick with them because now they are my favorite.

It's true: they do hurt, sits on small cartilage bump over canal- OUCH
Desperate for this waning style, I chose to ignore other reviews that said these were painful. I saw a few saying that they weren't wearing them right, or that they failed to put the different fittings over them to prevent them from being painful.

Nope, they were right. Feel just above your ear canal; there is some bumpy cartilage there. These earphones sit right smack on top of the cartilage ridges there, and that just hurts. They need to be angled. I considered heating them and bending the plastic, but decided to return them and keep looking.

I am a burpee/sprinting/box jumping/weight lifting workout person. I sweat a lot. I am looking for headphones that stay on and that do not enter my ear canal in a plug sort of way. (I like to be able to hear ambient sounds too)

If you go with earbuds, so far I think Yurbuds (Inspire) are the ones that seem like they're staying in during burpees. I brought home a bunch of brands to try- wireless seems to...

Excellent running headphones!
I was looking for running headphones for awhile after just getting into running. My last earbuds fell out with every step, so I did a ton of research looking for the perfect pair-these are it!

They are super light and very comfortable. I'm a woman with small ears and they fit great and don't budge AT ALL during my entire run. It comes with a couple different size adapters but I honestly couldn't tell much of a difference so I just put the first set back on and stopped messing with it. I kept them in case they start hurting my ears but that hasn't happened yet.

I have an android (Samsung Galaxy S4) and the remote (which says it's just for iphone/ipod) actually works to change the song in Google Play Music and the stock music player, but not when playing music in the nike+ app. The volume control isn't compatible, but I don't change the volume while I run so that doesn't bother me.

Other reviews have mentioned a loud whooshing noise in wind, which I...

Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 for Apple Devices - Ivory

Sennheiser sound on the go...
The Sennheiser Momentum is a product series whose goal is to merge the two most difficult attributes in modern day headphones, style and sonic performance. Here before you is the refinement of the original Momentum that started it all, the Momentum 2.

The Momentum 2's packaging is typical of Sennheiser and immediately showcases quality and first class workmanship. Upon removal of the lid, the much reduced in size case is first apparent. The cable is mostly similar to the first iteration but no longer does it have the steel constructed in-line microphone and controls. You then get your typical quick start guide and Sennheiser's 2 year warranty registration booklet. Here is where the Momentum 2 simply outclasses nearly all headphones immediately. Not only do you get a protective zipper case, you also get a pouch. Nowadays the trend for such expensive headphones is to only include a pouch which is a slap in the face for such a costly investment. To even go further, Sennheiser...

Wonderful
Amazing sound even when compared side by side to my HD 650s. Tried on many closed cans before settling on this one, couldn't be happier with my choice. I wanted to stay Sennheiser because every company has a unique sound to their headphones, and since I already had the HD650, the contrast would have driven me insane. The contenders were the 400 series, 280s, 380s, and urbanites. 400s were great for their price point, but lacking. 280/380 were more studio then street headphone, but obviously had great sound. Urbanites were a disappointment to capture the "beats" crowd. I compared all these headphones side by side to Momentum version 1, and found the M1s far superior.

Sound Quality: The sound is perfect. I compared to my HD 650s, and honestly for a closed can they hold up amazing. Highs and lows are hit wonderfully. Some complain it is a bit bass heavy, but personally I have no complaints. It is one of the most clear sounding headphones I have every tried on...

The best portable headphones I've ever used.
I liked the original momentums, but they were simply too small for my ears. If not for that, they'd have been perfect.
Enter the Momentum 2nd generation, with softer earcups and a larger earcup diameter. Now my ears fit snugly inside them and they don't press on the edges of my ears like the original did.
The sound also seems more balnced than before, with more clarity in the mid-highs.

These are an amazing set of headphones and I can't recommend them enough.

Made a world of difference

++ Intended for home use but offers excellent range and thunderous bass ++
This Sennheiser 175 is a set of wireless headphones intended for home use that offer excellent range and thunderous bass.

PROS
Powerful wireless audio output. Digital and analog inputs. Bass mode increases low-end dramatically, but can be disabled. Excellent transmission—never stuttered during testing, even through walls.

CONS
Sound signature is quite sculpted. Can distort in Bass mode on deep bass tracks at high volumes. Not portable; only for home use.

A good compare would be this version that is a bit pricier but offers fuller Sennheiser features: http://amzn.to/1DkluOH

Sennheiser Momentum On-Ear Headphone - Brown

Great Balance of Performance and Style
Have had the Momentum over the ears in my possession for the past couple of days. They’re pretty pricey for an over the ear model and have some quirks from a performance standpoint, but I’m generally a fan of them. Those expecting an acoustically accurate “reference” sound quality won’t find that kind of presentation from these headphones, but that doesn’t appear to be the point of momentums. These are designed to be more of a casual headphone that provides a very nice balance of style and sound quality that, though a bit colored, is worthy of the sennheiser name.

In terms of sound quality, the momentum on ears have a relatively laid-back sound quality, with some emphasis on the lower frequencies (bass), and lower treble frequencies. Bass is plentiful with these headphones, perhaps a little overwhelming at times depending on the type of music you’re listening too, but relatively clean, tight, and controlled. This is in stark...

If Your Hat Size Is 7.5 or Up...
These headphones are quality in every sense of the word. They are aesthetically gorgeous and sonically some of the best headphones I've ever experienced. From the metal headband frame to the soft ear pads and the sleek brushed metal look of the headphone cups, these are arguably the coolest looking and the best sounding headphones you can buy. I have a large head and the headband was too small. After about an hour or two of listening, I was in pain from the tightness of the headband and the pressure of the ear cups. I thought having small ears would be to my advantage with a pair of on-ear headphones; I was partially right. They fit my ears perfectly - but the headband for these was a shade too small for the headphones to be comfortable for daily wear. Anyone who has a bigger than average size head, caveat emptor. For the price, I should be able to listen to these for more than a few hours without pain. Sadly, they didn't work out for me and I was very sad to return them...

Comfort, flexibility and of course amazing sound.
These are probably my favorite pair of portable headphones ever. I'll summarize first for people.

Pros
-doesn't hurt the crown of my head
-Metal is flexible which can reduce ear pressure if you so wish
-Ear cups breathe and are comfortable
-Hand stitched and amazing quality
-2 year warranty in US when all others only have 1 year.
-Removable and replaceable cables included

Cons
-Doesn't provide noise isolation

Review write up

I first got these headphones as a gift. Let me say right off the bat that I would gladly pay full price for them. I'm not an audiophile and for the longest time I believed in the notion that I should never pay more than $50 for headphones. With this in mind I was very skeptical when first trying these out. "There won't be any difference in sound compared to my current headphones" I said. I assumed the price was all just aesthetics. I was pleasantly wrong.

Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 Wireless with Active Noise Cancellation- Ivory

An Audiophile Quality Wireless performance with A LOT of bonus features!!!
Arrived in a sturdy cardboard box packaging, I had to pause for a second while looking at the cover picture. Even so it was a familiar image of the original wired Momentum, I still took a moment to enjoy sexy lines of their design. Before opening the box, I usually like to take a tour around it to get acquainted with key features, list of accessories, design details, and technical spec data. Some of this info really stands out with key features of 22 hr battery life, BT + aptX support, NFC pairing, Active Noise Canceling (ANC), foldable design, wireless and wired connection, and 2 year warranty – quite an impressive list to get you excited for what awaits inside of the box. With a cover off, you will find a compact case made out of a soft material (kind of reminds me of suede texture) inside of a foam cutout, a familiar display setting I found with other Momentum models, though case material usually varies.

In addition to this soft touch case with a yellow...

The best bluetooth headphones for sound and comfort.
I have had the Parrot Zik 1.0, 2.0 and the Plantronics Backbeat Pro.
These are the best sounding and most comfortable. They are not heavy and can be worn for many hours. There is very little sound leak from the headphones. They have great bass that doesn't over power the mids in any way. You hear everything perfectly. The case they come with is perfect and it also comes with a bag if you don't want to use the hard case. The NC is very good and the battery last a long time. It is well worth the price I paid for these headphones. I would love to have some of the options that the Backbeat Pro had such as the automatic pausing when you take them off your head, but I still love my Momentum headphones. I don't need to look for a better headphone because I found what I was looking for.

Sennheiser HDR 170 Headphone Receiver

BEST I'VE USED
This product REQUIRES a separate transmitter. It's meant to be an additional pair of headphones for use with Sennheiser RS 170 Digital Wireless Headphone with Dynamic Bass and Surround Sound. You can read my full review of that product on that page. Here is an excerpt that applies to the headphones specifically:

RANGE and CLARITY: Hands down, the most important issue in wireless headphones, and this pair EXCELS way beyond anything I've used. I get clean signal over 100 feet away, through a brick wall. I get clear signal while using my microwave (unless I'm standing within 1 foot of it). Always fast to pick up the signal, with nearly ZERO interruptions in signal after months of use (the Sony DS6000 may edge this pair out for sound quality, but has serious problems with intermittent signal interruptions).

SOUND QUALITY: The second best sounding pair I've ever used. With bass boost and...

Great headphones, some trouble setting up.
I've already reviewed the Sennheiser HDR 170 with the transmitter. In this review, I'm mostly going to discuss the experience of associating the headphones with your transmitter and using multiple headphones at the same time.

First, in the box, you receive the headphones, a pair of AAA rechargeable batteries, and a manual. As before, installing the batteries was pretty simple.

Associating the headphones using the manual provided was somewhat difficult because the manual, although 130 pages long, only has about 8 pages in English, then 8 pages each in 14 other languages. The part about associating is a single page in the middle of the manual, all illustrations, that pretty much tells you to turn off both the headphones and the transmitter, then, with the two within 1 meter of each other, hold the power button on each for 7 seconds.

When it comes to using multiple headphones for the receiver, the manual provided with the extra pair is useless; you...

Difficult to Use
It can be handy to have a second headset operating off of the same transmitter, and the sound quality for this device is exceptional. Unfortunately, the absence of charging capability on the second headset means that one must rotate the two headsets through the same transmitter, which also serves as a charger. This major inconvenience is noted in the product title, and so I am writing this review only to highlight the shortcoming: don't expect to use a second headset with the same transmitter without a MAJOR ongoing inconvenience.

Three Months Later - None of the other reviews actually address the use of the second headphone, which is what is being sold here. Bottom line - it doesn't work, at least not the way it is marketed. 1) The second headphone won't work without an elaborate process to match the transmitter to multiple headphones. (Just pairing a second headphone actually disconnects the first.) Even then, whenever the transmitter is turned off or the power...

Refurbished item. One of the rubber rings is missing.
Didn't realize it was a refurbished item until I got my pair. I think the title of the product should say so... Also, one of the rubber rings that fit around the phone is missing. Besides those problems, it's a good product. Great fit, great sound. I recomend it, but beware of refurbished items. Read all the description.

Love It
Finally something that works for me. It stays in my ear when running and it's comfortable. I love the fact that it comes with various sizes on all ear pieces.

The Sennheiser CX 3.00 is the replacement to the highly rated Senneheiser CX 300 II, an earphone that’s highly rated and recommended time and time again on popular review websites such as CNET, PCMag, Engadget and many more.

Their predecessors, the CX 300II was know as a great upgrade over stock earphones. Boasting a strong, emphasized but not overpower bass, backed by a highly reputable brand with a rich audio history, while doing all of this at a relatively affordable price.

I also created a thread here for these earphone. (click the link below) *hint* discovered a special modifications that changes the sound, stay tuned for updates...

Incredibly comfortable, bass-heavy earphones
PROS:
-Easy to fit and very comfortable
-Nice low-profile jack plug
-Simple but effective design
-Easy-going, gutsy sound
-Good noise dampening

CONS:
-Bass is just too powerful
-Carry case is impractical
-Don't justify the price

It should have been at the same price as this one: http://bit.ly/1xOjj3s

LOVE THESE! I've been searching for a good pair ...
LOVE THESE! I've been searching for a good pair of headphones for a while now. Searching just "earbuds" in the search bar is not enough. I researched Sennheiser because my boyfriend had a pair a while ago and liked them. I listen to mostly electronic music, so I was looking for a pair of relatively cheap earbuds with good bass. I took a risk getting these since they were a little more expensive than the top rated ones on amazon, and there were only 11 reviews compared to 4 - 4.4 star headphones with over 1,000 reviews. But these definitely are amazing. These are perfect in every way.

PROS:
-Look awesome
-Decent price
-SUPER BASSY, but in a good way; good bass, not in-your-face-blow-out-your-eardrums kind of bass

CONS:
-didn't come with a carrying case, but not really a big deal

I hope these last for more than a year or two.
-gives a surround sound feel (like another customer said)

Sennheiser PX 100-II i Light Weight Supra-Aural Headset with 3 Button Control for i-Pod,i-Phone and i-Pad (Black)

great headphones -- until they short out
I bought these less than a year ago - they are like my 10th pair of Sennheiser PX 100s over the last dozen or so years. That tells you two things 1) these are so good as far as portable headphones go (earbuds skeeve me out --my ears are too sensitive) that I still buy them over and over

2) They short out almost on cue after about a year (when only one ear works the other dies out and if you jiggle the jack the dead ear sputters back a bit but not much) - I thought with the new cord maybe they fixed the problem, maybe it's built-in obsolescence? Maybe I'm too rough on them? I'm a city lad and wear them a lot for running and speed walking - I don't step on them or anything, GOD! I'm so MAD! I don't want to have to fork over $60 every year for new headphones... it's bull!

comfortable light weight headphones
I own a ridiculous number of headphones. It's like I have a headphone fetish. Weird! But why? A different headphone for every purpose. The purpose of these is "walk around headphones to use with my iPhone". And for that purpose, they are great!

They sound good, lots of bass for the size/weight/price and are comfortable for long listening sessions. I bought the one with the mic so they work with the iPhone for voice calls (it is my understanding that sometimes people use their iPhones to "talk" to other humans). (all joking aside, every once in a while I do the same).

They fold up for putting into a backpack, and even include a little travel bag.

I'm a fan of the single wire solution. Less wire to get tangled and pulled when moving about or scratching your chin.

I'm a HUGE fan of the open air HD555, HD585, HD518 headphones, which are huge and really useful for using in the comfort of your home, or at work. But these little ol' PX...

Worth every penny!
I bought these headphones about 4 months ago after much deliberation and couldn't be happier! I wanted headphones with good sound quality, that were NOT noise canceling, were able to make/receive iphone calls, and were comfortable. These headphones not only meet that criteria they exceed it!

1) First, and most important, the sound quality is amazing! I've listened to everything from Nicki Minaj to the Zac Brown Band as well as numerous audio books and the sound quality is excellent across the board. I will admit the sound is a bit bass heavy, but I don't mind that at all, and really it only emphasizes bass thats already in the music. The narrators of the audiobooks I've listened to sound crystal clear with no clipping whatsoever.
2) I was not looking for noise canceling headphones for a few reasons, the main one being I have a 2 yr old that I wanted to be able to hear at all times. I also didn't like the idea of taking a phone call and not being able to hear myself...

Sennheiser IS410 Wireless Ultra-lightweight Assistive Listening Stereo Headphone System

Great sound, comfortable form factor
When I worked in radio in the 80's, Sennheiser offered a low-cost wired headset in this stethoscope configuration. They were comfortable, light, and easy to quickly put on or take off. Especially good for those wearing glasses, too. I like a closed ear headphone for listening to music, but this configuration is great for listening to TV.

These are infrared wireless, and as long as your are OK with the limits of that form of wireless, they work great. It's line of sight, and if you turn your head a fair amount you can get some static, or even a loss of signal if you turn much more than 45 degrees. But if you position the transmitter properly (in front of you, not off to one side), it's really not an issue. I can even go into the kitchen and maintain a signal as long as I'm pointed towards the transmitter.

Sound quality is very good, with excellent stereo separation that makes me glad I decided not to buy the mono set that was about $70 cheaper. The unit comes...

There is No Better TV Hearing System.
As a past user of TV ears, I must admit that this Sennheiser unit is far superior. There is a speech clarification circuit engaged by pressing a button on the transmitter unit. The unit sits conveniently behind and beneath the screen which allows the transmission of the signal to work perfectly. Like TV ears, the signal will be blocked temporarily if someone walks between you and the transmitter base. Not a frequent problem for me.
A really great feature of the Sennheiase unit is that the headset only turns on when expanded to place over your head. It sits comfortably on your ears and hangs under your chin. Light weight so it can be worn comfortably for hours. When removed, it immediately turns off allowing for many hours of listening without recharging. Recharging is simple. Simply place the headset on the transmitter cradle. Make sure the red light on the right side comes on to show the headset is properly placed on the cradle and is charging. Simply great unit. I...

well crafted and it has made a loud house peaceful again!!!
Whats that you said... Oh my goodness I can hear myself think again!!! If you have a loved one that has lost some of their hearing, id say minimal to moderate loss of hearing; for example talking to someone with a normal tone and they can somewhat hear you but sometimes think you said something else, then this device is perfect for them to help watch TV and keep the main volume to a normal level for everyone else! Its well designed and it does need a clear line of sight for it to work. The sound is VERY clear and has adjustable settings for the desired ear that maybe having loss of hearing, and there is also a volume control that you can crank up if needed. Connection to your TV is so easy a 7 year old could do it! Turing off the device is as easy as taking it off and placing it on the charging dock. Battery life is described as 8 hours, but I have not tested that yet on a full charge as i just got the device, so its charging as im typing this. We shall see...

Sennheiser PX100 Collapsible Open-Aire Headphones

Exactly as represented
I wanted a headphone that had excellent sound but allowed me to hear external conversation and environmental cues. This certainly fit the bill. It is comfortable, has great acoustics and allows me to hear other things to be aware of my surroundings as I enjoy my iPod.

Great comfort, sound, and portability at an attractive price
After receiving an iPod one Christmas, I'd been looking to replace its stock earbuds with something a lot more comfortable, a little less tinny-sounding, yet comparable in portability. Serendipitously, the local Costco was demo-ing several Sennheiser headphones, and since I happened to have my iPod in my pocket, I had a chance to listen to it paired with the PX100s.

Putting them on, I immediately noticed that I'd be able to wear these for hours with no discomfort. They are light (65 grams), which is comparable in weight to a comfortable, El Cheapo headphone that typically comes bundled with Walkmen/MP3 players. Pads at the top of the metal band help to keep even more weight off of your tender ears. They are the open-air style where you only have sponge pads pressed against your ears (as opposed to having them enclosed within full, heat-retaining ear cups), and the spring pressure holding them against my ears was not excessive, yet there's no sensation of them wanting to...

Great headphones for the price, and comfortable, too
I got these headphones when they were priced at $33 (the price seems to fluctuate mildly). At that price or even a bit more, they are a tremendous bargain. They are comfortable, extremely portable, and provide amazingly crisp, clear sound. I started using these when my 4-year-old Shure EC2s developed a short near the plug. The Sennheisers don't have quite the bass that the earphones produced, but the overall clarity far surpasses the more expensive Shures. The downside is that they don't shut out sound as well, a major consideration when commuting to and from work on the EL, and they let more sound out, meaning that I can irritate others on public transportation. I therefore plan on relegating these headphones to home use only as soon as I purchase a new pair of earphones.

If you need some inexpensive headphones either for use at home (I plan on using mine with my laptop) or as back ups for noise isolating headphones or earphones, these headphones will be tough to...

SENNHEISER HD800 Headphones/ HDVD800 Amp/ Balanced Cable System

Excellent Service
I received the packages last Friday. After tested it out and fond the optical input did not work. So I called HiF-iHeaven on Monday.
Ryan picked up the phone, asked me a few questions and arrange me to return the amplifier. However before I did, I found out that it works on CD and not only on SD. So every thing is cool. The night mare of any online purchase is the phone tack game, wait and messages.
Ryan there was very courteous and act fast, giving me all the information for the return. Incidentally, the music comes out very good and detail. The system is expensive, but important thing is the purchase turns out no hassel and I am happy.

Sennheiser HDR 180 Headphone Receiver

Great sound, great range
Just unboxed this and tested it out. I gotta say I don't understand some of these reviews from people saying how much they suck and how cheap they are and how poor the range is. The sound is pretty much the best headphone sound I've heard, short of the sound you can get out of $400-500 MM550s or Dr. Dre Beats or other noise cancelling+SRS headphones. But the range is fantastic for my needs. I can go everywhere in my 3000 sq/ft house with no droppage or static. I can go to the end of my 50 ft. driveway and then it starts breaking up. So, can I get 300M or whatever they claim here? No, but that's line of site I'm sure. I can get everywhere in my 3 story home and all the way around the outside of the house and the garage.

I also was able to pair up a second pair of RS 180s very easily. I don't get the guy who claimed the manual stunk. It said how to do it...I did it...it worked. Essentially, hold the ON button down on all the headsets for 7+ seconds, then hold the ON...

Great headphones. No charger
These are great headphones. I'm very happy with them with two exceptions. As many people have noted, the volume and power buttons are small and you have to take the head phones off to adjust them. My other issue is that the headphone say in the description that they include a charger, but they don't. (I call Sennheiser about this, and they said they were going to update the description, so perhaps you won't notice this.) But know that if you have multiple headphones sharing a single base, you won't be able to charge them at the same time. I bought a separate set of rechargeable AAA batteries to ensure i would never be stuck without a charged headset.

sennheiser HDR 180 lesson learn
I own a set of Sennheiser RS 170 with transmitter headphones and I watch the sennheiser video that said you could add up to 4 headphones So I decide to get a extra set of headphones and upgrade to the HDR 180 headphones . So I got them in a couple days put the battery's and turn them on nothing happen no sound. So I email Senneiser and they told me that only the HDR 170 work only on the 170 transmitter and the HDR 180's on the 180 transmitter . So I hope this will help anybody who may be thinking about adding a extra set of headphones who already have either the 170 or the 180 headsets . PS I highly recommend sennheiser headphones I really enjoy mine and some people have complain about the buttons. I have found after a while of using them you will learn where the buttons are and can turn the volume up and down with no problem at all.

Sennheiser HD335S Around-the-Ear Headphone

Awesome quality, but look for a deal elsewhere.
I bought these headphones just recently from a box retailer, where I found them for $69.99 on clearance. Not sure why they had them on sale but it was a deal I had to take! I've purchased several headphone sets recently and these are second only to the Sony MDR-XB600 extra bass headphones I bought earlier this year. I'll say that I enjoy music with a good thump to it - rock or rap, even some pop. That said I don't want to sacrifice the high end of the frequency response. The frequency response is something I always check, and at 14-20,000 Hz, you can hardly beat that in this price range. Most comps I checked were at least 18-20,000 Hz, and many were 20-18,000 Hz. (My favorite Sony's I mentioned are 4-24,000 Hz; believe me that stuff makes a big difference.) Aesthetically these cans are hard to beat. I love the styling and they are very comfortable and stay secure on my big head (unlike the Sony's, which fall off if I lean forward).

The sound quality is as advertised -...

It's almost like they made these with me in mind...
First of all, if you have a big head, like I do, you know the pain of finding a decent pair of headphones that one can wear comfortably. I'm happy to say, these fit my head remarkably so! They are the most comfortable headphones I've ever owned.

A couple features I love about these:
the fact that one can raise the right ear phone off your ear. I use this feature a lot, as I tend to use them in crowded places (at work, at home, on public transit). It's nice to not have to stop the music just to hear what someone is saying.
The smartphone / ipod button works great with my ipod classic, kindle fire, and google play music and movies (on both my phone and tablet).
Finally - the majority of the cable is detachable. This is great for storage, as it prevents tangling. It's also nice to know that if I damage that part of the cable, I can replace it.

Don't get me wrong - if you're wanting something super base heavy, these probably aren't the headphones for...

Don't miss the volume control!
These are great headphones. There's a detail here that may get overlooked by some individuals: these headphones have a volume control built-in.

I didn't notice it at first (it didn't help that the Amazon description has a typo in it). It's in the right-side ear cup. If you look at the pics, you'll see a small indentation just below where the headband connects to the right side. That black ring with the dent in it? It's a volume control. The picture shows the volume at 50%. My headphones came with the volume at about 70% (which was quiet).

Hope that helps someone, 'cause these are decent cans.

Amazon: Your description reads "...and talk to people around youth volume control...". It should read "...and talk to people around you. The volume control..."

Sennhesier MX685 Adidas Sports In-Ear Headphones - Black

Sweatproof, stay in your ears headphones
I've used and tested many earphones. I need something that not only offers good sound reproduction, but will be sweatproof and not pop out of my ears. The ubiquitous white headphones widely available with the most popular MP3 players do not work for me at all. Not a huge problem with how they sound, but they won't stay in. Some are fairly big and uncomfortable, and I don't really like the kind that suck into your ear canal like a vacuum because blocking out ambient noise makes you have to listen to the cord rubbing on your shirt and your own breathing, as well as being somewhat dangerous. These Sennheiser headphones are a pretty good option. Sound is good, maybe not great, and they fit snugly in your ears without blocking out all outside noise. The cord is long enough and sturdy enough it will hold up as well as stay out of your way. Overall, a good headphone. The only thing lacking is an in-line control. I've gotten hooked on that for exercise because if you are out running...

Excellent alternative to standard ear buds
I have terribly finicky ears. Normally, in-ear headphones and I do not agree, as the ear buds either do not fit well and fall out within seconds, or they cause aggravating pressure and pain with prolonged use. But as someone who is active, over-the-ear headphones do not work well for me, thus I have been forced to reckon with in-ear headphones for years, never truly satisfied.

Finally, it seems, Sennheiser has solved my problem. The MX685 offers an excellent balance between form, function and comfort, though they're still not quite perfect. Here is a short list of pros and cons, to help highlight some of the key points:

PROS:
* Sound clarity is surprisingly articulate, with full, rich stereo sound
* External noise is dampened really well, with little sound bleeding in or out
* Includes several sets of ear adapters, based on ear size/comfort
* Water and sweat proof. The manual even indicates the headphones can be washed!
* The ear piece is...

Sturdy, well holding, good sound quality for workout
The Sennheiser MX 685 are affordable, indestructible bud headphones that are well holding in the ear pinna (auricle) with the height-adjustable fins, which slide under the ear pinna's inferior (anterior) crus of antihelix ("Slide to Fit" holding system), that withstand the day to day pounding, are sweat and water proof (can be washed), and still can provide a good sound quality for sport & fitness activities. The sound is crisper & clearer than, and detail is good and above the average... for workout.

The headphones come with a solid long cable w/ a clip, with a small "L" shaped plug, with 3 sets of differently sized rubber, and 1 set of foam covers, and with a bag. The right size rubber covers fit well, but do not fully seal for the weak bass. The foam ones do, but also expose overpowering mids & highs... expected at this price point. If used with the Philips GoGEAR players, the equalizer settings balance mids & highs w/ the bass, and the FullSound technology (software)...

Sennheiser IE 80 EAST In-Ear Headphone

Truly Amazing
I've been using below average headphones and IEMs... then I thought it's time for me to get myself a decent headphones because I love listening to classical and soundtracks. I started looking at $200~ range headphones like HD598, and TripleFi 10 IEMs... but after I tried out my friend's HD598 and HD650 then I realized I prefer IEMs over over-the-ear headphones, so I decided to spend more and find myself a nice pair of IEMs that is at least on par if not better than HD650 in SQ wise. After a week of research, reading feedback, reviews, comparison between Westone 4R, Shure SE535, IE80, I settled down on IE80. I was a bit skeptical if I can hear any noticeable different with these $450 IEMs than my other crappy ones.... but after I listened my FLAC collection with IE80 thru HT OMEGA eCLARO 7.1 Channel PCI Express x1 Sound Card, I can tell you, when people say they can now hear what weren't there before with these...

Awesome earphones !
I have upgraded from a set of Klipsch X10i to these Sennheiser ie80 and I am delighted.
You will see from reviews by audiophiles that Sennheiser did correct the faults of the preceding ie8 with the ie80 ... No need to correct the lower end sound signature of these earphones with the equalizer of your system, as was often the case with the ie8 model.
These earphones are very confortable, can be worn in bed, on a sun lounger as they fit snugly inside the ear (not sticking out like the Klipsch X10i) ... the wire is removable so any breakage there would just require an easy wire replacement ... No cable friction noise to speak of either... I have actually sourced an original Sennheiser replacement cable for the older ie8i model (with built-in microphone and controls for iphone)to fit to my new ie80 and it all works perfectly with my iphone 4s.
Their build quality is very good, no obvious weakness...
The sound quality is just awesome, very clear and detailed, with a...

Warning, you are now entering audiophile territory!
Anyone aspiring to be an audiophile would have heard the name of these IEMs, they are one of the very best around and only a few are in the same league as this one.
The IE80 was released a few years ago, following the IE8 which was for a long time, the best that Sennheiser had to offer in this regard. Lets cut the introduction short.

This review is not an Audiophile perspective. Its just my experience after one years usage. While it may not give you side by side comparisons with rival products, it will give you an idea of what the IE80 truly is.

Short version of review:
------------------------
If I had to tell you about the IE80 in one line, then I would say, you will not be disappointed by these IEMs no matter what. Sound quality and build quality are top notch. Bass and mids are fixed from the IE8, which was the main complaint of certain users. Sound stage is excellent. Metallic finish is awesome. No complaints in any department. It retails at...

Sennheiser PCX95 In ear neckband headphones

10 pairs later... I finally find the best headphones in the world!
Literally, I've got 9 pairs of medium to high-end behind the head, over the head, and ear phones sitting in a drawer gathering dust. But those days are over now that I've bought and througly tested the Sennheiser PCX95. Simply put, these are the best behind the ear headphones I've ever owned. Finally, something that's not a waste of my money.

I regularly wear them to the gym while lifting free weights, machine weights, and cardio exercises at least 5 times a week and have found:

Pros:
- The cord length is more than sufficient to reach the Phillips ProVIBE that I clip to my belt.
- The cord is a flexible cable that stays that way no matter how cold it is, or how many ways I try to kink it up. Just feeling the texture of the cable tells you that the cable was on the design list, not just an afterthought.
- The behind the head portion of the headphones is VERY flexible which allows the ear buds to stay perfectly in my ears even when I'm laying flat...

they sound good to me
The Sennheiser PCX95 in ear neckband headphones are a quality product: both raw materials and craftsmanship. They perform as advertised and have the added advantage of reducing the outside noise and staying in the ear. Although I am not an audio expert, they sound good to me.

I would recommend the purchase of these headphones.

The exercise headphones I've been looking for
I've used them for a total of about three hours of exercising and they have worked great. I've had about five different earbuds used for exercise and they all kept falling out when I ran. The last ones I bought had the nubs that stick off of them to help hold them in your ears but it did not help much. These have been awesome. I think the sound of them is really well balanced. They are not crazy bass heavy but they do have pretty good bass response as well as really clear mids and highs. They are more comfortable than any of the other "neckband" style headphones I've ever tried. Most of the others I've tried applied a little too much pressure which caused my ears to hurt after awhile. The build quality on these is also a lot nicer than any of the others I've had/tried in the past.

The brief review:
Pros
* Great sound
* The most comfortable "neckband" style headphones I've tried to date
* Above average build quality
• Won't fall...
